Swift modular hotel with staff member that was lackadaisically helpful conceded to suggest restaurants in the area. Basic facilities in the room. Slightly crammed. Location was most convenient in a town that has unequal attractions and may appear desolate and lifeless in late March Saturday evening visitors. Quiet and with good basic lounge facilities and an extra on price on basic breakfast.

I stayed 1 night en route from GVA to Morzine. The hotel is 10 / 15 mins’ flat walk from the bus / train stations respectively. While the lake view from my room was pleasant, less so were the adjacent mould-covered concrete structures & wall of the adjoining building. Also noise from the small park behind the hotel was an issue. Comfortable bed. Decent shower & pump-dispenser products. No kettle or mini fridge. CNN & BBC World the only English-language channels. Pleasant & helpful staff. Decent self-service breakfast with lake view. The main drawback was noise disturbance within the hotel. The sound insulation is non-existent (man yelling on his phone in the next door room) & the repeated slamming of doors was horrendous. A lady I spoke with at breakfast also complained about the noise.

old rooms, malodorous, old carpets, old furniture. We surely will not recommand this hotel and we will never come back. We did cancel the reservation and left the hotel immediately. We are very disappointed. This hotel has to be renovated!

It's great to be back in Thonon at the Ibis hotel. In the heart of the city center, over looking the lake Leman, clean comfortable rooms and super friendly helpful staff. excellent breakfast. No problem to park with the underground parking lot.

We paid extra to have a room overlooking the lake. The hotel had a special deal for secure car parking. The location was close to restaurants, the funicular, the town centre and pretty gardens on the Belvedere.
