I do not recommend the hotel, lack of parking spaces, prices at the hotel restaurant are totally unrealistic, especially the drinks. The rooms are very poorly lit. Lots of lighting fixtures that are totally inefficient.

Colorful, accommodating and comforting stay

Spent two nights with my family and our lovely dog at this vibrantly decorated hotel. Every corner, from the lobby to the rooms is thoughtfully decorated with colorful (very) touches. The staff were incredibly accommodating throughout my stay. My room was comfortable with a nice add-on of automation via a tablet. I especially appreciated the quiet ambiance, which made it easy to relax after a long day exploring Timișoara. Breakfast was rich, fresh, and full of variety. The only downside was the air conditioning, which struggled to cool the room during the hot August afternoons. Aside from that, everything else was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We checked in with Mikael who was helping me with the bags. The room was hot, 28 centigrade and I phoned Mikael. He lied about a complicated eco system,etc,etc. I know about AC systems and I told him to lower the chiller temperature, he lied that he will do all possible. The owner is saving on the electricity bill by not switching on the system. If you like a comfortable room then look for another hotel.

We chose Mercure for a family trip to Timisoara as I am an All member. I previously stayed at Ibis Timișoara, which was an excelent stay for a single person, but want it to try also Mercure. Very good help with the reservation by phone from one of the staff and I thank for this. The check in was fast and staff very friendly. Room looked very cozy in the beginning and interesting due to tech controlling all in there. And now the disappointment start. The heating was set on cold and could not changed it to warm. After a phone call to the reception managed to do it. However, the air from the vent was cold even when setting the temperature to max (28 degrees C). Complaint to the reception 2 days in a row and was giving all kinds of bs. excuses. Only in the last day of our stay this was fixed (my guess is that the general system was still set to cold and they had no one that could.come in weekend to set to warm). Another disappointment- breakfast. Very poor choices, small quantities (no butter one morning and out of stock!), poor quality of jams, old (hope not expired) chocolate cream etc. 2 stars hotel breakfast. Comparing, Ibis Timisoara breakfast was way better. 0verall it was a feeling of making whatever savings possible by the owners (I believe is an affiliated hotel to Accor, not directly owned). Not worth the 4 stars.

Hello ,we booked it for two days the staff was very kind and professional ,the room had an ecological air conditioner not working properly ,we only had breakfast buffet wich was very good .Please check ur bill before paying ,parking outside
