Great location, stunning views of the Adelaide Hills. Well presented room, included full kitchenette and coffee machine with coffee pods. I can’t fault the facilities, loved the art work, gym and pool facilities. I’ve stayed previously at The Johnson Art Series Hotel in Brisbane and can totally assure, both hotels provide the same quality service.

Deceitful. I booked a studio for $587 for 2 days over Christmas as a treat. Despite the light and airy image online, the studio had no window - actually a narrow window covered with black material and sealed with gaffer tape. It was an incredibly dark and claustrophobic room as a result. I was told all the studio’s are like this. Fortunately the aircon unit over the door had leaked onto the floor and carpet so I was upgraded to a one bedroom balcony room. The view there was of the roof of the next door Woolworths and from the bed, I looked right at the large aircon motor - haven’t they heard of frosted glass? The saucepans were stored up near the ceiling and the cutlery in a drawer at floor level. The toilet paper was thin, cheap and 2 ply. The bed base cover was frayed and I suggest you bring your own pillow as lumpy. The corners of the rooms were dirty and the drawers in the kitchen contained crumbs. The crockery supplied was minimal. Finally, Head Office will send a review form - the same one from several years ago, “it will only take 7 minutes to complete” but which I have found they don’t respond to.

Very grateful to have a kind man give me an office to work from between 10 and 12 while i had key meetings during checkout. Not so grateful to the woman before who was not interested in helping me and wanted to charge for late check out by 1 hour. Overall it worked out well.

Great hotel with all the necessary amenities for a family stay. The room was a reasonable size for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Good sized gym and pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Convenient location right near shops and bus stop for easy travel into the CBD (no more than 6-7 minutes).
