I stayed at this CBD hotel for a weekend getaway, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring on foot. The staff were warm and professional, and check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was clean, modern, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and great city views. I also appreciated the in-room amenities, including fast Wi-Fi and a well-stocked minibar. One of the features that drew me to the hotel was the advertised sauna, which unfortunately was out of order during my stay. It was a bit disappointing, as I was looking forward to unwinding there, but these things happen. I would recommend that the hotel update its website or inform guests ahead of time to manage expectations. That said, everything else met or exceeded expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again—hopefully next time the sauna will be up and running!

Nice Hotel in the Heart of Town

The Pullman Adelaide is a modern hotel in the heart of town. My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights as part of a group of 40. Our room was spacious, which was great because we were living out of our suitcases. There was plenty of room to accommodate them as well as allow us movement around the room. The bed and pillows were really comfortable; that says a lot since my husband can be very particular about his pillows. The room included a refrigerator and pot to heat water. The bathroom, while not huge, was large enough to accommodate 2 adults at the same time. The only negative was that the shower faucet was located in an awkward place. You can definitely get wet when turning it on! We were delighted to see a pretty good gym on the property, with 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 2 bikes and a variety of machines. There was even a swimming pool (but we didn't use that). In general, we were very pleased with this hotel.

A great stay but many things need improvements in a 5 star establishment

Location is excellent, right in the middle of everything. Short distance to botanical garden, city centre and museums. Room is a good size and a coffee machine is a welcome addition. But please review your policy on providing little cartons of cows milk for the mini bar. For a 5 star hotel, there should be an alternative milks like oat and soy provided to go with a morning coffee. Cleaning needs to be improved, it is lacking in attention to detail. Buffett breakfast is a lot to be desired. Supermarket bread should be removed and replaced with an artisan bread. Pastries are lacking in variety and the ones that are on display are unappealing. The selection of the desserts is very poor. Coffee is below a good standard. It is pleasing that barista made coffee is included in the buffet breakfast but the quality of the beans and the skills of the barista need to be improved. Overall we had a good stay but hoping that my slight criticism will be taken into consideration and things will improve if we were to come back in a near future.

We visit Adelaide every year and always enjoy our stay at this hotel. The rooms, food, and location are excellent, but what truly makes our experience special is the outstanding service from Mr. Bowman. He consistently goes above and beyond, remembering every detail about his guests and making us feel at home. He truly deserves Employee of the Year. However, we were disappointed with the service from the receptionist, Ms. Chen. Her initial attitude was unfriendly, unhelpful, and unprofessional, which is unacceptable—especially for a hospitality role. While she improved slightly after our complaint, it shouldn’t have taken a report to prompt better service. She is in the wrong career if she can't be hospitable and represent ACCOR. We sincerely appreciate Ms. L. Kesuma, the assistant manager, for handling the situation professionally. Despite this issue, we still love staying here and look forward to returning.
