Our Bale Rooms also offer 1 to 3 Bedrooms and are set apart from the rest of the resort. They combine larger than normal room sizes with exquisite, hand-picked furnishings.

We have stayed here before and come back for the location and the pool which is great for the kids. This time around I noticed the room was becoming quite dated and the blinds were covered in mold. Staff are all really friendly and helpful in general however did have a few minor issues. We had arranged a grocery delivery of essentials for our kids and reception turned the delivery away meaning we arrived without the nappies etc waiting for us. We will return mainly because of the location and amenities and hopefully a bit of a refresh isn't too far away

The hotel and our room were brilliant, however, one small criticism. We understood that we were on a 'deal' which did not include daily housekeeping, that's fine. However, there was barely enough 'essential' items to last our stay, eg. toilet paper, dishwashing detergent, washing powder and only 2 x coffee pods for the coffee machine. We did request replacements from reception (as advised in our guest information package), however this did not happen and we had to make do (we ended up purchasing some in town). I think when a room or suite is booked for a period of time, and no daily housekeeping is included, ample supplies should be included to carry you through your stay. There was also no information provided as to what to do with rubbish, we had several bags by the end of our stay.

We stayed 2 nights. On arrival we saw that the decorative drink tray on the bed wasn’t clean… not a great start. The drainage in the bathroom is poor, the shower leaked outside of the cubicle and rather than go down the drain, it ran almost all the way out to the hall, lucky there was a mop in the cupboard so I could feel right at home. When we retired to bed, we found the block out blind was mouldy along the bottom. We then found that we had been put underneath a family whose children thumped around from 6.30am - 10pm both nights. Some thought into where guests are placed would make a world of difference. In the morning we thought great let’s have a coffee in bed - pod machine supplied with 2 pods. We hoped that for over $400 a night we might be given some for the following day when our room was made up - nope, not so. The restaurant was closed for Reno’s, so we headed over to the mantra for breakfast as advised…. Some directions would have helped so we didn’t have to wait at the mantra reception for help. Overall it was just really disappointing, we wanted to love the place but in the end, we were glad to leave.
