Friendly staff. Very professional. Great rooms. Loved the peaceful outlook too the woods. Bird life was awesome. Breakfast was a good standard. Staff worked hard to provide a great service. Parking was easy. Elevator access. Location was perfect close to Hastings St & the beach. This was our 2nd stay. We would stay again

The room was pleasant enough however on arrival the first thing we noticed was an overwhelming stale damp musky smell in the room. I understand this can be a result of moisture from cleaning and a humid climate but just to provide some useful feedback, having the room opened up and aired a couple of hours before guest arrival would probably alleviate this issue! I opened up the slide door to the balcony whilst we went for a walk and bought some air freshener which solved the problem for the rest of our stay. First impressions when you’re on holiday is important and a smelly room is not a good first impression, it actually makes you feel you’ve made the wrong choice of accommodation! Also the couch and foot rest were quite stained. We used a blanket on the couch to sit on Maybe it’s time for some of the furniture to be replaced I’m spending money and am on holiday, Iwas disappointed with a stained dirty couch🙁 and the nasty smell Apart from these issues the room was modern and had lovely views!

Expected a star resort experience received a 3.5 star for the accommodation, experience, ambiance and comfort. Twin share in a small bedroom apartment, no door from the bedroom to the bathroom so zero privacy. Apartment very dated unlike any resorts I've stayed anywhere, expected and paid for 5 star received 3.5 star. Room wasn't made for the whole stay, for a 5 star resorts that's appalling. The pool is very small and nothing like a resort pool, just a pool. Food is good, location is good, quiet. Service at the bar areas could be improved maybe more training..We had to ask for dipping water for the prawns we ordered and bowl to put the prawn peels. There were only 5 customers at the time at the bar eating area. For the advertised 5 star resort this is very disappointing as we were expecting a true 5 star resort experience
