From the moment I arrived I knew I had mad a good choice. The friendly courteous reception staff made check in easy. The room was comfortable spacious and homely.I slept well in the comfortable bed and felt cared about with a nice touch of a bottle of champagne.The spa bath was huge and nice to relax in.A slight bit of traffic noise but this was no concern to me. The carpark was well worth the fee and f i was able to feel at ease knowing my car was secure and that I could then get up to the room safely. The location was brilliant for attending a venue at the centrepiece.

Great location, friendly staff. Hotel is very dated and needs a facelift. Amenities are very clean but basic. We were in an apartment which had the expected facilities (microwave, cooking facilities) so it served a purpose.

Handy to access everything Melbourne has on offer.

A great spot to stay that’s close to the city and all the attractions of inner-Melbourne. Walking distance to major events and public transport options. The rooms are well maintained and it’s a bonus having a restaurant on site.

good sized rooms for a 1 bed self contained apartment in a handy location for the Head of the Yarra rowing regatta each November . well suited for a 4 night stay and have been using this hotel since 2006

Booked for my uncle to stay - and used my card to guarantee. They ended up charging my card by mistake, which is understandable, but then when I called to query it I was told the only way to refund me was via an international wire transfer (I am US based). This seems ridiculous to me - any vendor can refund credit cards these days, I am not sure if this is even a legal practice?

During the visit, there was a request to extend due to illness, and we all trust that it is now fine. However, we are here to assist where we can if required. The team took the charges from the card on file to guarantee the booking; we apologise for taking the extended amount from the guarantee card. As discussed with our assistant manager, we have emailed you to obtain the required details to facilitate a bank transfer. Please reply to the email so we may enact the refund. As we lease out short-stay apartments, we work under a legislated real-estate trust accounting system that does not allow us to refund booked revenue through a credit card. The process involves accounting and Licensee approval and through a bank transfer. I trust this explains the process, and once again, we apologise for the inconvenience.
