Kids loved it! Mostly a good stay + a few issues

We travelled with two young kids (5 and 6) and found the location to be a quick and easy walk to everything we needed (southbank, small grocery store, city circle tram, gallery, botanical gardens). The staff were excellent and very helpful with all of our questions and issues. Unfortunately we had some minor issues with the room, including the dryer being broken. We were offered the use of a dryer in an alternative room though, however this wouldn't have worked for us. The king bed kept splitting in to 2, and the fold out sofa for the kids was on an odd angle- however the kids didn't even notice. Despite these downsides we had a good time. The place was clean and functional, and the pool was a big hit! FYI the pool is 1.06m deep everywhere. One of my kids could stand up, the other was too short- but could easily stand up in the spa!

GREAT LOCATION, VERY EASY TO GET AROUND, APARTMENT WAS CLEAN & TIDY, CONVIENT PARKING PROVIDED THROUGH THE HOTEL, BUFFET BREAKFAST HAD LOTS OF VARIETY, IN FOOD, DRINKS & OPTIONS. VIEW FROM WINDOW WAS GOOD, OVERALL, 7/10. WOULD RECOMMEND TO STAY, RECEPTION STAFF VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFULL

Staycation was not worth the cost of the stay. Very gloomy appearance, dusty rooms, floors looked dirty, windows hand marks, front of house staff friendly but didn't appear professionaly dressed/groomed for their role. Wouldn't stay there again or recommend it as it's overpriced for what you get, and parking cost is a rip-off!. The noise from the road made it hard to sleep. Pillows way to big, had a horrific night sleep, disappointed as we went to have a short weekend break :(

Would no highly recommend over priced for what we got price gouging during school holidays bathroom not up to standard and kitchen dirty very disappointed not even a bottle of water in fridge book breakfast when check in lady forgot to book us in

While I aim to address the issues raised and prevent recurrence, I note my team members forgot to pre-book your breakfast, and I apologise for this oversight. Given the quality of Melbourne drinking water and our efforts to reduce bottled water packaging, we stopped placing bottled water in our Units a while ago. Our family and I just had 4 fabulous nights at the Mantra Southbank Apartments. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which had great amenities and was in a great location, close to the river, restaurants and much more! The staff were helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!
