Only a one night stay, in room 211 which is on the side facing the park opposite. Although it was booked as a studio (Accor member), it had a separate bedroom area and very high ceilings which gave a wonderful sense of space in a heritage building. The lounge/dining area was large, airy and looked out over the park. The Salamanca markets were literally across the road and the wharf area and Battery Point a short stroll away. There is limited parking under the building at a fee. The reception staff, Anna, was delightful and very helpful. Thanks! Although there's no onsite restaurant, there are plenty of dining options nearby. We would happily stay there again.

A truly warm welcome at Mantra 1 Sandy Bay. Booked 2 x 1 Bedroom studios. The hotel is situated in an older building which has been converted to studios. Our room was huge - the living area was massive. Nicely appointed and we were lucky enough to get one that had been freshly re carpeted. Limited cooking facilities but adequate for a short stay and many restaurants within a short walk. Very comfy bed and a large bathroom with washing facilities. Onsite car parking available if you’re driving. Overall a great stay and I would consider staying again.

Very friendly staff, and helpful. Clean and spacious apartments. Lovely views towards St.Davids Park and in a perfect location for everything. Only negative, our Executive Apartment (409) a bit dated, and for such massive rooms we did giggle at the small TV's. Thanks for a lovely visit to Hobart.

Staff helpful and friendly. Great location. Recommend Davey St side room - they seemed to be larger. Recommend hotel.

We stayed on two separate occasions. The staff were very kind and allowed my partner to leave her bags at the hotel because she arrived early. They also allowed us to check in a little early on a second stay - great after a long drive. Recommend staying on Davey St side of hotel. Overall, great location and friendly and helpful staff. Recommend staying here.

Exceptional stay and staff at Mantra One Sandy Bay Road

I had a great stay at the Mantra One Sandy Bay Road. I booked an executive apartment and I was surprised how big and spacious the apartment was. The views of the St Davids park with the waterfront at the back was a perfect way to begin our holiday. The apartment was very clean and well appointed and needed everything we needed like internal laundry, fully contained kitchenette facilities, foxtel channels and high speed wifi for being Accor Members. The car park is limited but booked in advance to secure a space which make the holiday so convenient. The location of this hotel is perfect as it's just 2 mins walk to salamanca market and a short stroll to Battery Point and CBD. I would highly recommend this hotel if you prefer larger self contained rooms and convenient location to the CBD and ofcourse the amazing and friendly staff who make your stay comfortable 😀
