I was delighted to be warmly welcomed by the wonderful Nini on reception at the Mantra on Little Bourke. This was an unexpected short-notice stay and she did everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I can not thank you enough, Nini :) Spacious apartment style room, laundry facilities on Level 7, good restaurants on site and close by, and a short stroll to all the city action. Great value and great service!

From the beginning, we were treated so kindly. Robert, the manager, was at reception and he was so friendly and welcoming. He made sure we were happy and was very attentive. The room was beautiful and very large..lots of space to dance around in if that's your thing! Very comfortable, large bed. Lovely clean bathroom with all the amenities. I would absolutely recommend staying at the Mantra to any city-goer.

I really enjoyed this Hotel and it kicked off my recent holiday in Melbourne in great style. I loved the upgrade that I had received to a higher floor suite with panoramic views over the old rooftops of Little Bourke Street. The staff at the Reception desk were nice and I had a special stay here as a result. I definitely aim to return to this property someday.

A Quiet central location. We had a corner suite with fantastic views. Amazing staff , great rooms and extensive breakfast. We will return and definitely recommend the hotel. Reception staff were amazing and helped us with both an early check-in and a late departure.

I have stayed at Mantra on Little Bourke for at least 15 years, never looking at anywhere else to stay. The staff are always friendly & the rooms so spacious. However, this time was a big disappointment. I already knew from my last stay that the restaurant had closed so no room service for food. What I didn’t expect was to stay 5 nights & not have the room cleaned at all or the towels replaced. After 3 days I went to reception to ask about getting the towels changed, the tea bags replenished & why there wasn’t anyone to make the bed etc. The bin was also overflowing. I was told that you have to stay 7 nights before the room gets cleaned or pay extra for this service. He then proceeded to hand me some towels over the counter & gave me a bag to put the dirty towels in. When I come to visit Melbourne & after a long day, part of the luxury of staying in a hotel is to get your bed made & come back to a clean room. I just don’t think not having a cleaning service for a 5 day stay is acceptable for a hotel of this calibre & felt more like a hostel!!! I will certainly look at other hotels in future that provide this service. Not even being an All-Accor member gave any benefits of getting a cleaned room.

These include: - Advanced Everyday: For those who prefer daily housekeeping services. - Stay and Save: Opt for weekly housekeeping and receive a $10–$15 discount per day. For your recent stay, the Stay and Save option was selected, but it's clear that we did not effectively communicate your housekeeping preference at check-in and I understand how disappointing this must have been, especially as a long-time guest who has enjoyed staying with us for 15 years. Rest assured, we will be taking immediate steps to ensure that housekeeping preferences are communicated and confirmed with all guests moving forward. Please accept my sincerest apologies once again for the inconvenience this caused. Meander, we value your loyalty as an All-Accor member and long-term guest, and following our phone call, look forward to welcoming you back in February. Regards, James
