The location and convenience of this place is excellent. Our room was absolutely not - and I’m seriously not impressed to have paid a small fortune to stay in a room that had seriously stained and honestly revolting (not to mention supremely cheap and nasty) carpets, fixtures, and fittings. I had to ask for an extra sheet to cover the couch, because I truly didn’t want to even sit on it. The other “arm chair” was also stained and horrendous. The carpets, blankets and cushions are vile, ancient, stained, and also cheap, nasty - and all need immediate throwing out and replacing. I find it so despicable and dishonest that “owners” use the advertising of clean and fresh rooms to profit, while people like me pay a fortune expecting one thing and getting something else entirely. Not even close to good enough. The staff were excellent, and aware this isn’t their fault. I gave them the same feedback. Please avoid old rooms and ASK about them before you book. Oh - and there’s not even a vacuum.

We had five wonderful days at mantra mooloolaba. Everything from the room (incredibly large with Ensuites, spa, full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, large balcony, huge windows, king bed), to the cleaning staff who could not have been more helpful and kind. Thought we had an issue locking our balcony door…Murray the maintenance man kindly informed us there was nothing wrong, left us as lovely note with a hammer shaped biscuit…we just hadn’t closed it correctly. This was an example of all staff we encountered. The receptionists were exceptional as well…Jasmine, Amanda, and others who I am so sorry I can’t remember their names…were just lovely and could not have been more helpful. Car parking was elite as well. Thanx to all at the mantra for an awesome time.

We had a very pleasant stay at Mantra Mooloolaba Beach and would happily recommend it, particularly for the location. The property is perfectly positioned with a short walk to the beach, retail stores, ice cream parlours, and a great selection of restaurants. A real bonus is the secured gate at the rear of the property that provides direct access to Woolworths and BWS behind the building — perfect for quickly grabbing supplies. You do need your room key to access this gate, which adds to the sense of security. While the room itself is in serious need of an upgrade, it was clean and comfortable. We were lucky to have lovely views of both the mountains and the beach, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The balcony was a good size and a great spot to relax. The bed was comfortable, although there wasn’t a lot of space to store luggage out of the way. The property has both an indoor and outdoor pool, both of a good size. As expected in a family-friendly resort, when kids are in the pool it can be hard to avoid noise and splashing. This wasn’t an issue during our stay, but if you’re sensitive to noise you may want to be mindful of peak pool times. There is also a lovely outdoor area near the pool with BBQ facilities and cabana-style seating, making it a great place to enjoy dinner outdoors with ocean breezes and views. Check-in was easy thanks to a large driveway leading to reception, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Underground parking is available with a maximum height of 2 metres; some of the parking spaces are a little tight, but they were still accessible. Overall, a comfortable stay in a fantastic location — perfect if location matters most and you’re happy with a room that’s clean and functional, even if a little dated.

Manta Mooloolaba had a great view from the room and is well located for an easy, relaxed stay. The apartment itself is a bit tired in places but still functional and had what we needed. The pool was perfectly fine for a casual, relaxed swim, though nothing particularly special. Staff were polite but not especially engaging or helpful during our stay. One of the highlights is the convenience factor; a supermarket right next door, easy parking, and close proximity to restaurants, cafés, and shops, which made getting around very easy. Overall, a good option if location and views are your priority and you’re happy with more basic accommodation.

Super Hotel mit top Lage

Das Mantra hat eine super Lage, fussläufig zum traumhaften mooloolaba Beach. Einen kostenfreien Parkplatz, dazu indoor und Outdoor Pool mit Whirlpool hat es zum entspannen. Das Zimmer war riesig, mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, Waschmaschine und Trockner und tollem Bad mit Whirlpool, dazu war es sauber. Leider gab es kein eigenes Restaurant mit Frühstück, dafür gibt es aber rund um das Hotel mehr als genug Restaurants.
