Excellent accommodation - very clean and comfortable. The property is a 10 minute walk from the main town center and local attractions. Staff were attentive and accommodating to our needs. We are definitely staying there again when we are back in Lake Tekapo.

From the beginning of reservation, I was questioning this hotel, which appear to be a service apartment without F&B facilities. They never repply to my email addressing to the link in ALL app. I also addressed via email the potential problem with the payment to my card due to expiration date of my card, but never got attention until the hotel cancelled my bookings. This is REALLY TERRIBLE. When I called the hotel, I was advised to contact the ACCOR Central Reservation, on which they blamed each other regarding my email to them. However, problem solved finally after rebooking and payment made. Upon arrival @ hotel, I found out that this Mantra is a service apartment with no F&B facilities, and no benef to a platinum member, even a welcome drink... This is so annoying, especially that I paid 20% higher rate for this stay compare to Agoda (which I already questioning this hotel and ALL C thru my enail). In addition to that, the condition of the apartment itself need to bebpaid attention. I really feel sorry choosing this hotel....

Mantra Lake Tekapo is a service apartment property, and we do not advertise for any food & beverage facilities on site. This is entirely up to the guests to decide whether it is suitable for them or not. However, we do have our sister property "Peppers Bluewater Resort" about 2 minutes' drive away and we do recommend that to all our gusts. The booking was made through our central reservation team, and they tried to reach out to you on multiple occasions, but they received no response and had no choice but to cancel the booking. Once we established communication with you, we ensured you that we are holding rooms for you. We do agree that this could have been handled better please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. As there is no Food & Beverage facility at Mantra Lake Tekapo, we unfortunately do not offer any arrival drinks to our members. However, room upgrade is offered if available and we did upgrade your rooms during your stay with us. We can assure you that you were given the best members rate for this booking and the rate on any other website would not be able to beat that unless if you are comparing different dates. At Mantra, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore, your feedback is very important to us. This is a warm, spacious, clean and comfortable apartment, with a wonderful view and equipped with most things you need. There is even a garage that will accommodate a medium sized car which is a bonus. We have stayed here a few times over the years and sadly each time we come it has worn out a bit more, it is definitely time for a refresh and upgrade. These apartments are not a cheap option and sadly many things are wearing out and, in some cases, don't work or are dangerous. It is looking very tired, and not really worth the high price. The lock on the bathroom door does not work, the basin is badly cracked and missing part of the tap. The plates are all miss matched and there is only 4 of each item, so if you want to use a bowl for dinner and then dessert you must wash the plates between courses. You are expected to turn the dishwasher on upon departure but as they don't replenish the powder during your stay there was no powder to use. Towels are not replaced and there are not enough rails to dry them on in the bathroom between uses. Quilts were badly stained with what looked like food or worse... These are minor inconveniences; however, the most troubling aspect was the plug used on the heater in the living room. It is not sufficient for the capacity of the heater and consequently heats up to a dangerous level when in use which has resulted in the plug melting and burning and if used would be a fire hazard. We made sure it was unplugged and not used during our stay. Finally, when booking on the Accor website a welcome drink was promised, however upon checking at the hotel they knew nothing about welcome drinks or any Accor plus gold privileges. Certainly not the service we have come to expect from Accor properties.

到着予定時間を大幅に過ぎてしまう事になり、すぐに過ぎてしまう事を連絡をしたら、受付の方がすぐに対応してくれて、受付時間外受取の鍵付きロッカーから宿泊キーと注意書きを取り無事宿泊出来ました。 また、チェックアウトも早い時間だったので、どうしようかと思ったら、 木箱にそのまま部屋のキーを入れれば大丈夫とのことで、チェックインもチェックアウトもとても快適でした。 部屋も2階建てで広く、オーブンもお皿も揃ってるので、近くのスーパーで買って来て作るのにとても快適でした。 また機会があったら利用したいと思いました。
