Mantra Heritage

The hotel was good value and in a prime location in Port Douglas. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. We enjoyed our stay and would book this hotel again. My only issue was the rooms were not cleaned very well on initial check-in.

Great location right on the main street and lovely pool and BBQ area. The rooms in the dual-key one bedroom apartment were large with plenty of room to spread out. The spa on the balcony was an added bonus.

Fabulous central location with cafes, restaurants and shops on the doorstep, but close to the beach too. Needs some updating, but still very comfortable and always love staying in Port Douglas in this central location

Perfect location. Hotel needs to be updated. There was mould on the wall under the air-conditioner. Air conditioners need to be re-gased as one was really cold and the other wasn't very cold. When we booked, we advised we wanted a swim out room however we weren't advised that there was a set of stairs to access these rooms and this may be an issue with a pram; maybe they should have suggested something more suitable. There was hardly any plates so I had to purchase these from Kmart. You have to walk around the pool to access the BBQ area. Be prepared to wash their towels and sheets if you want clean ones. Minimal sun gets onto the deck area so it's hard to dry any washing. Not a very family friendly hotel. Not much atmosphere, very quiet. If you're travelling with friends and choose swim out rooms, there is walls between the decking's which is annoying as you can't talk to one another, you have to go to ones decking. They aren't private as anyone can swim down however if they made them a bit shorter, it would be much more accessible.

Wir waren während unser Australien Rundreise für 3 Nächte im Mantra Heritage Port Douglas. Es war das zweite Mantra Hotel während der Reise. Port Douglas ist sehr klein und es liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße (der Hintereingang jedenfalls) - die Rezeption ist nur bis 19 Uhr besetzt. Wir hatten noch Glück und haben noch jemanden rechtzeitig erwischt zum Check In. Der erste Eindruck war der herzliche Pool mit den Palmen. Es gibt jedoch kein Fahrstuhl und alles ist nur über Treppen zu erreichen. Unser Zimmer hatte ein großes Bad (Dusche & Bad) und eine Mini Küche im Schlafbereich. Vor etwas weniger Bad und mehr Küche, dass wäre wünschenswert. Sonst ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Neben der Klimaanlage auch ein Ventilator. Alleine aufgrund des Pools würde ich wieder kommen. Aber leider auch hier: Doppelzimmer gebucht und nur eine große Bettdecke. Kleiner Nachteil auch, dass hier noch mit Schlüsseln gearbeitet wird. Sowohl für die Tür als auch für den Tresor. Auch der Kühlschrank ist teils sehr laut.
