Great family friendly hotel in an unbeatable location

We stayed in a deluxe 2 bedroom apartment in the West Quarter (room 240) and the room was lovely, clean, new, spacious and very comfortable. The balcony overlooks the pool but we got used to the noise, and to be fair, the hotel is very family friendly so it would be unrealistic to expect silence. The view from the balcony is great as the grounds, pool and greenery are all very well kept - it looks beautiful at night. We stayed as a family with our 3 year old and he absolutely loved the pool and spa. The kitchen was well equipped which made it easy with our toddler if we wanted to stay in and cook a meal and the location of the hotel is so good with the beach just across the road and loads of restaurants and shops at your door step on Hastings. We loved our stay at the Mantra French Quarter and would absolutely stay here again.

Can’t believe this is an Accor property. Absolutely no recognition of loyalty or benefit given, arrived early but did get room until after 2pm check in time. Wasn’t even well cleaned. Reception staff couldn’t care less and I appreciate they are copping lots of complaints. Spoke to guests moving out due to building noise. If I could have found an alternative we would have moved out too. Impossible to stay in room due to noise and poolside was no better, with everyone shocked there was no prior communication of the building works. Sure rooms need updating but let people know in advance as this was very deceptive behaviour. The room rates were still high, and no compensation offered. I write this a warning, if you are thinking of a peaceful time by the pool forget it. The noise levels were verging on being an OHS issue causing hearing damage. Any property I have booked in the past that has ongoing building works have always warned me of that in an email or had a message on their website. If I knew this in advance I may still have elected to book if the price was right and would not be writing a review like this! Thank goodness the location is good and plenty to do in Noosa to escape the noise scheduled daily from 9-3. Our poolside room was renovated but still dirty, with a broken dishwasher and you can tell cleaning is very poor probably as they are understaffed. Sorry for the need to write such a negative review but I do this to warn others.

Far from a resort

Extremely tired ‘Resort’ built in the rendered cement social housing block style of the 70s Dodgy hot water supply, took ages to come through. No fan in the bathroom. Sand through the room and filthy remote for the tv, that struggled with its signal strength. Not what we expected from an Accor resort.

Das DELUX Apartment (230) ist klein dunkel und verbraucht! Auf der Terrasse gibt es nur einen uralten Liegestuhl. Die Dusche im Bad ist für älter Menschen fast nicht zugänglich und gar nicht appetitlich. Für den viel zu hoch Preis eher abzuraten.

Ich hatte ein sehr schönes Zimmer unweit des Pools. Das Hotel ist sehr weitläufig aber ausgezeichnet gelegen. In unmittelbarer Nähe die Flanierstrasse von Nosa Heads mit unzähligen Restaurants und Baars. Im Zimmer hatte ich sogar eine Waschmaschine und einen Tumbler, den ich dankend Nutzte. Auf der Reise mit dem Bus von Sydney nach Cairns übernachteten wir hier zweimal, somit konnte ich einen Waschtag einlegen und den Pool geniessen.
