DGH2025 Families - TripAdvisor review

This is an old resort. The 3 bedroom apartment we had was well renovated and furnished however only 1 air conditioner in the family room, none in any bedroom. No wifi and poor mobile phone reception. Lots of narrow stairs to get to the 3rd floor apartment, with no elevator, so not suitable at all for elderly or disabled.

Shower very difficult to get in and out of, furniture very dated, very small fridge for a stay for a week, no dishwasher, one towel per person for four days not acceptable. The barbecue near our room does not work upstairs viewing deck, apparently closed with just a piece of chain no signage. The whole room needs a refurbish. Cockroach in the room alive.

Found our room a little dated and not cleaned properly. Lock up garage door didn’t close properly and couldn’t be locked. Otherwise, our accommodation was adequate for our needs and the ocean views made up for any property issues. Enjoyed the pools and walks a long the beach.

Difficult access

The room was great (except there is only 1 air conditioner in a 3 bedroom apartment). Getting to the 3rd floor room was by narrow stairs, no elevator, and the parking was in a garage that was very narrow and a low roof so the tailgate hit the garage door. Very difficult to load and unload, with nowhere else to park as it was a very busy period. No wifi in the resort. Mobile internet reception is patchy so the kids struggled with their devices. Comfortable with everything you need once you’ve carried everything upstairs. Just not suitable for older people who may not be so mobile or strong. Carrying heavy suitcases in heat with humidity is not fun.
