Centrally located, you'll be set to explore Port Stephens from your self-contained 2 and 3 Bedroom Apartment or Penthouses, all within walking distance of everything Nelson Bay has to offer including a 27-hole golf course and variety of amenities and activities.

Choose from 2 or 3 bedroom apartments, some with private balconies, all with coffee and tea making facilities and modern comforts, or 3 bedroom penthouse with balconies and ocean views. Centrally located to allow you to make the most of your holiday in Nelson Bay and with resort style facilities including fitness centre, outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi, you'll never be bored on your holiday.

I recently stayed at the Mantra Resort with a group of girlfriends, and we had the best time! From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth and welcoming. A special shoutout to Ashleigh at reception — she was absolutely fantastic! So friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. We recently stayed at Mantra Nelson Bay for a family trip, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the marina, shops, and restaurants, but still peaceful enough to relax and unwind. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and well-equipped for our family's needs. The pool area was a big hit with the kids, and the BBQ facilities were great for casual family dinners. A special shoutout to Kellie and Ashleigh at reception—they were absolutely wonderful. Both were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and always happy to assist with a smile. Whether it was tips on local spots or just making sure we had everything we needed, they made us feel right at home. Highly recommend Mantra Nelson Bay for families looking for a comfortable, convenient, and friendly place to stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Disappointed !

Bad check in , we were not happy with the initial apartment as it was at the rear of Building A. The girl ( large black glasses) name tag missing, was abrupt and not welcoming. We ended up in the same building Room 2. View of cranes at the building site and the front gate. Air con was ineffective in 30+ temps , very old needed replacing . We had a 3 night stay, the day after arrival I used the washing machine, the lint filter was full of dark lint, its compartment was full of black mould. The balcony was also very dirty on floor tiles, glass panels and window sills. Very disappointing stay ! We will think twice about staying at Mantra and never again here!!!
