Awesome Trip to Rixos Saadiyat again- as in 2023

First of all we would like to thank every employee of Rixos who made this trip again very special for us. reception, poolside, poolbar, restaurants, housekeeping, lifeguards, kids club etc. As two years ago we have booked a standard deluxe room with a balcony. As we are just on our feet throughout the day in the resort, the room really doesn't matter to us. and the beach: just wow. if just expirienced that in thailand and the caribean islands. we haven't seen dolphins this time but that would just have been the icing on the cake. we arrived very late (8:30pm) because the flight from vienna is a day flight actually. when you come to the hotel and you have been there recently you definately know what awaits you and this brings positive feelings from the beginning. because of that we just had the option to have a room in the first floor with a small french balcony. that's were we have made first contact with the night manager who offered us to change room on the next day, as a bunch of people will be checking out and organize us a room on the 3rd floor with the best view (poolside). thats what happened on the next day- I was contacted proactively via whatsapp that the new room is ready and everything was brought to the new room automatically- what a service. From that day on the night manager was attentive when making contact with us. he knew exactly who we were and that's a big plus when hosting that much people in a hotel, making eye contact every time when passing the reception. we only had one problem and that was the wasterwater smell in the bathroom. it was awful at the beginning but after two visits of the technician it was gone (thank god). from a service perspective everything was 10/10. the food, the cocktails, pool service (special thanks to the towel man with the cap!!!) on rollerblades, special restaurants, room service, kids club activities (thanks here to all the german speaking ladies, you were awesome). at day ot departure, which of course came way to early, we had the challenge of a night flight (3am departure with a baby and a 6 year old) and needed to stay at the hotel very long. as we could not enjoy our lunch at day of arrival, the hotel just booked this for us at the day of departure. furthermore we could freshen ourselves up in the SPA area and the night manager also managed to have us a quick bite before departure- speechless indeed as we have been treatened like very special ones. so finally with a lot of respect my friend and my personal rixos employee of the year: BINOY FRANCIS (the night manager). i've never met someone beeing so handsome, polite, authentic, memorable- and of course the best hotel employee i have met in my life (and i've been to a whole lot of hotels). not because of him but as we love the whole concept and escape the european winter, we'll definately come back again and bring friends with us :)

Хороший, но не дешевый. Цена завышена- если цена - качество . В спа нельзя с детьми - для нас было важно. Еда на 4. Залив мелкий . В остальном все хорошо. Персонал вежливый и доброжелательный. Если сравнивать с Турцией - то выберу Турцию, но в апреле холодно там. Описала как будто минусы- но в целом понравилось. Цена высокая - скорее всего больше не приедем .

One Week of Quality Time at Rixos

We recently stayed at Rixos again, this time with both our kids and parents. It was our first time in a family suite, and we had an amazing experience. Our kids especially loved the kids' club, which was packed with fun activities—they were sad to leave! Having stayed at several properties in Abu Dhabi, we must say the beach at Rixos is truly unmatched. As always, the hospitality was exceptional. A special thanks to our Holiday Assistant, Souman, for his outstanding service, and Upendra from the travel desk for his helpfulness. We look forward to coming back again next year!

Maybe think twice if you don’t have kids

Fantastic hotel with great food and very friendly staff. I never normally rate buffet restaurants but this one is the exception food choices and quality were amazing. Enjoyed meals at both the Italian and the Asian restaurant but did not enjoy the Turkish and this is the only place I felt the service fell short. The guys on the rollerblades round the pool are the stand out!!!! Amazing service!! I loved the lobby bar in the evening and Wendell gave us fantastic service each time!! The only negative for us was the amount of children at the hotel most of them not knowing how to behave. They ran about in the buffet restaurant making it a loud and unpleasant experience for dinner. They also were all round the swim up bar something I’ve not seen in other hotels. It is a fantastic hotel for children however it would be great to see some adult only areas set up and not just the grass next to the pool. We went to check out the kids wave pool and it was almost empty. If that doesn’t get used change to an adult only pool!! We loved everything the hotel offered in terms of cleanliness,service and dining but would have enjoyed it more had there been an area to escape the noise.
