Be careful if booking with kids!

Be very careful if booking with kids. I paid around £400 per person for a room and Eurostar for myself, my wife and 4 year old son. We found out that even though we paid equal amounts, they expected us to stay in one bed! I questioned this with 25 Hours Hotel and they put a massive pullout bed in a room for our little boy. When we checked in the receptionist confirmed there will be no extra charge for this, but they needed to take a 100 euro deposit (but confirmed it would be returned at check out) when we came to check out, a different receptionist said we needed to pay for the fold out bed plud taxes, coming to 95 euros and it's taken from our deposit! The room was crampt and the view was terrible, if I was told when we checked in that we would be charged, I'd have asked to change room. Really disappointed. But on a positive note, the breakfasts were great.

The extra bed itself was indeed free; however, as we agreed during your email conversation with our booking service prior to your stay, the charges you encountered were for upgrading to a higher room category to accommodate three people in the room. We had also granted a discount on the rate of room change, the main part of the charge is the tourist tax applicable to adults. We appreciate your understanding regarding the deposit process, and we're glad to hear you enjoyed our breakfasts. Went to 25hr for our 37th wedding anniversary and what a stay. From arrival to departure this was one of the friendliest and cleanest hotels that we have ever stayed in. On arrival we were greeted with a complimentary drink each and a room upgrade and wow what a room everything was spotlessly clean with a huge comfy bed , great views and a complimentary mini bar (what more can you ask) also a great all you can eat breakfast that set us up for the rest of the day, We will definitely be back. Once again thankyou for a wonderful stay.

I was visiting Paris with 2 colleagues. We had a great time during the days and much was because the great impression we got by our hotel and them accommodating us in various ways. Special shout-outs to their frontdesk organiser MD, who went over and beyond to make our stay as good as it could possibly be. The hotel should be very happy to have someone as MD as one single person really could make a significant difference for someone's experience in Paris. Would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good, convenient and problem-free stay in Paris.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough - the staff were all friendly and helpful, the rooms were beautifully decorated and clean, with towels changed and beds made up everyday, all-you-can eat breakfast was great and set us up well for our days of sightseeing and the bar/restaurant food was also great. It was simplicity itself coming off the Eurostar at Gare du Nord and crossing the road to check in and with the entrance to the metro right outside the door it was perfect for us to move around the city. And the staff didn’t mind me practising my French with them - all in all a great stay and perfect hotel for my children’s first visit to Paris. I will be booking again - merci!

We were lucky enough to stay at this hotel during the Paris Olympics. The location couldn't be more perfect for arriving by Eurostar or airplane as it is directly across from the Gard du Nord. This is a busy areas but once inside the hotel you are met with peace and calm. The reception staff (in fact all the staff) were really welcoming which was so appreciated. The room was very clean, comfy and decorated in a fun way. There is aircon that means you can close the windows if you don't want to hear the hustle and bustle. We had everything we needed for a brilliant 2 night stay. The bar and breakfast were also super. We will absolutely stay here again as a couple and as a family. Thank you to all the staff and team.
