Welcoming reception team. Fast and efficient. Good restaurant and bar. Handy for motorways. Comfortable room. Will be using again as competitively priced and access to West Midlands is good. Accor have done well to make this a great business service.

Stayed here for 1 night while travelling for business. Was a little apprehensive after reading previous reviews. Arrived at the hotel and received a friendly welcome from hotel staff, checked in and given directions to room. Room was on 2nd floor. It was extremely hot in the hotel, but room did have air conditioning. It did turn off when the key card removed, but this can be overridden by placing any credit-card sized card in the slot. An eclectic mix of furniture throughout the hotel. The room was quiet. I was concerned after reading other reviews about hearing other guests, but thankfully this wasn’t the case. Did stay on a Monday night thought. 2 pints of lager for £9 which I thought was reasonable. Ok-ish breakfast. Nothing groundbreaking but plenty of choice. The main negative I found was the overwhelming smell of used cooking oil in the main reception/ground floor area. The oil smelled old had an overbearing smell. The restaurant was just off reception so could have been the reason, but the smell indicated that the oil could do with a change and wasn’t pleasant to sit in the bar area. Free parking. A couple of other hotels in the immediate area. Would probably return if the rate was comparative and good value.

I have to admit that our stay was a real mixture of poor and decent. The positives were: free parking, the variety of hot and cold breakfast options, a decent sized room, which was very clean, lovely modern lobby area, and the staff. Sadly, there were too many negatives which affected our stay. These were: the walls are very, very thin, and twice during the night, we were disturbed by other guests chatting in the corridor. We could also hear chat and toilet usage from rooms two doors away! Yikes! Sadly, this led to an awful night's sleep. Our neighbour could be heard shouting at these noisy guests to keep quiet on two separate occasions. The area surrounding the hotel is very noisy, with roads and motorway connections very close by. Yobs shouting, and messing around outside could be heard far too frequently, and we weren't completely convinced that our car would be safe. It's such a shame as the lobby area is chic, modern and stylish, and the staff very nice, but overall, it was a very disappointing stay.

Positives : staff very friendly & helpful, Gym has cardio, resistance and workout area.Breakfast choice of hot and cold good. Negatives : Paper thin walls and you can hear neighbours talking, as well as toilet usage. Had a couple next to me who were up for all night natter long into the early hours (after 4am. Lovely). Not blaming them, as they weren't being boisterous, its the structure that isnt up to the job. Evening meal really poor - avoid at all costs! Limited choice of drinks if you're tee total. Next to busy road. Won't be going back.

Prima hotel met een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Kamers zijn simpel maar prima, badkamer was erg klein en toe aan een upgrade. Een kleine bar waar je ook wat kan eten. Eten was matig en opgewarmd in de magnetron/ half koud. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.
