Fantastic find! This spotlessly clean hotel offers the complete package. Reception staff (Marita and Stefan) were welcoming and professional. The highlight was discovering Anita's holistic therapies in their excellent spa facilities. Topped off the experience with a delicious vegan Penang curry in the restaurant, where Svetlana provided great service. Already planning my return visit for more of Anita's treatments and the wonderful spa experience!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

On the whole, a good stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean. I was disappointed by the vegetarian options for dinner; low in sources of protein and not balanced nutrition. On the Sunday evening, there was no vegetarian option at all, though they made me an omelette on request.

Remembrance weekend stay

Overall great stay. Initially our early check in room was not ready which was disappointing. Very swiftly resolved by Gerry whose customer service was excellent. Room was fantastic, clean, large tv, nespresso coffee machine with pods provided was a nice touch. Gowns and slippers provided in the room and very nice shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body cream provided. Bedding was excellent and the duvet and pillows were extremely comfortable. Bed was huge! The leisure facilities are a little tired but the staff and regular gym and spa users made up for it! A very friendly lot. The gym and spa is a monthly members club also and so not solely for the use of hotel customers.You will need a padlock for the lockers as this is not provided. Food in the restaurant is great, and the staff are very accommodating of dietary needs and preferences. If you will require any drinks or snacks for your room I would recommend bringing them with you as there is no easily accessible local shop nearby. The hotel as a whole is very well run. Only member of staff to let them down was the chap ‘welcoming’ us to breakfast. Made us feel like criminals as our room was not in his checking sheet. Once resolved did not apologise for the way we were treated either. Breakfast selection was great and food was piping hot. Great coffee and nice to see oat and soya milk options without having to ask. Overall a positive stay, very close to Birmingham, free parking and we would return. Good value for money the groupon deal.

We chose this hotel as it was convenient for the WBA football stadium. Some pluses: Very good location - easy to get to straight from the M5 Our room looked recently refurbished (still ongoing) - clean and tidy Negatives: Rest of hotel is tired looking - corridor carpets are dirty and needs a paint (again , may be fixed by refurb) Swimming pool area is v tired - changing rooms out of action - we were advised to use disabled toilet which was, frankly, in a disgusting state Fire door directly outside room banged shut everytime someone walked through Biggest negative was attitude of a staff member on reception - just generally disinterested, no eye contact, when we asked to check out, she just took the key card and said nothing, returning to her computer - left a very sour taste and could so easily be fixed (I genuinely wonder why people with this lack of interest in customer service are hired!)

Wat een fijn hotel. Maar 1 nachtje gebleven maar we hebben het fijn gehad. Vriendelijk personeel, thanks Mairita! De kamer was niet heel groot maar schoon, fijne bedden en hele fijne douche. Fitness en zwembad zijn erg goed. Ontbijt zeer uitgebreid, ook vegan melk aanwezig. Diner: erg lekker. Voor vegans genoeg keuze en niet duur. Hond kost 15 pond, parkeren 7.5. In de buurt zijn snelladers voor ev. Enige minpuntje: geen minibar en fles water op de kamer.
