Opposite the Halle aux Grains, we are 15 minutes by foot from the Château de Blois and Maison de la Magie. Just 15 min by feet to Blois railway station. Take advantage of our bike garage and partnership with bike hire agencies to cycle along the Loire River. If travelling by car, take advantage of our private parking and visit Beauval Zoo and nearby castles.

15 min on foot to the Royal Castle of Blois & the House of Magic, & especially right in the center of all the castles of the Loire: Chambord, Chenonceau etc. The famous Beauval Zoo is 45 min away by car.

Poor customer service

Our visit to the hotel was very disappointing as we had to wait an hour to check in time as the room was not ready despte us arriving after 15:00! When we initially complained, we were offered a drink of our choice and when we selected wine were told we could not have it as it was too expensive and we could have a soft drink only. The staff said it was not the hotels fault the room was not ready, which as the room are cleaned by the hotel staff I found this informationsurprising! There were also no supervisors or managers on duty at the weekend, and therefore, no one was able to resolve our complaint. The swimming pool, despite being small, was very popular, meaning there was no space even just to stand! The breakfast was ok, although none of the hot food was hot. The hotel does have a secure car park, which is an extra despite it being next to council car park, which did not charge whilst we were staying, which the hotel staff denied when asked. On a positive the hotel is easy walking distance to the city centre.

Nice hotel

We stayed at this hotel two nights. Room was very comfortable, bed, pillows and linens all lovely. Staff at reception and bar were extremely friendly and very helpful. We had the small breakfast the first morning which consisted of sitting in the reception area with juice, coffee, yoghurt, breads with jam, honey and chocolate spread. The second morning a complete disaster, we decided to have the complete buffet breakfast, which of course is more expensive. The two coffee machines did not work and it took about 4 members of staff to try and fix one of them which took about 25 minutes. There was no yoghurt left we were told, a small amount of scrambled eggs remained, no bread except sliced bread for toast and only 3 croissants left! Of course we complained and didn’t have to pay! But our point is that no matter what time you arrive for breakfast be it 7.30 or 9. 30 you should have equal choice of items as it costs the same! I hope this bio gel takes this onboard!

Nous en avons bien pris note afin d'améliorer nos procédures et garantir une qualité constante tout au long du service. Nous espérons que le geste fait sur place a permis d’atténuer quelque peu votre déception. Encore merci pour vos retours constructifs. Nice hotel in the heart of Blois

This hotel was pretty good comparing to our experience in Paris. Location was good. Public parking is recommended. Don't pay 13 Euros to the hotel. Public parking next to it is just 8.50 per day and only for hours when you use it. Thus, it will be much cheaper. If you leave at 9AM and park at 6PM or between 12PM and 2PM - it is free. Staff was OK but not very friendly. We had a small fridge and a kettle. Tea and coffee available but you have to ask for it since service not always put it. Overall, it is a good hotel in the heart of Blois.

Visiting Bloise for the very first time from Australia I was excited to visit. I have to complement the staff on a very well maintained, clean, beautiful food and above all exceptional customer service. It was actually the actions of one of the receptionist staff that inspired me to write a review. Late one evening with no one in sight I observed her cleaning the reception, wiping doors, under ledges that were hidden from view. Her name was Marion and she demonstrated her commitment Novotel’s values, specifically ‘Integrity’!!! Integrity to me is how you behave when no one is watching!! Novotel is very lucky to have such professional staff, that exhibit such behaviours. Very inspiring!
