Comfortable stay, great customer service

Having spent a lot of time around the Westlake area on a previous trip, decided to stay in a different area on this trip and chose the Mercure Qianjiang. The hotel’s about 7 mins walk from the Civic Center Metro (Exit E). The lobby is modern and funky. I noted at booking that there are rooms with no windows so I made sure to book one with windows. The room (a King room) is very clean, newish and modern. Most amenities were provided (kettle, slippers, bottled water etc). The hotel has a self-serve laundry though I did not check it out. Lovely customer service too. I left a shopping bag behind when I checked out and they held it for me with my left baggage. Had a very pleasant walk to the Raffles City and MixC Malls. There’s a branch of Grandma’s at the latter.

The hotel is on the 52nd -54th floor of a commercial building which makes the views from the hotel room superb. The hotel staff were very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable about traveling and places in Hangzhou. There is a restaurant at the reception level that serves superb food and a great breakfast. The room facilities are all great and clean. I enjoyed my stay. There is nothing to complain about except maybe the windows are dirty and not good for photography. Please clean glass from outside regularly.

国庆期间去了某旅游城市美居，遇到了很大很多的问题，一度都对美居这个品牌失望了，但是10月中旬的这个预定不能退改取消，于是就硬着头皮来了，因为10月12日这个周末和国庆调休，所以自己上班没法第一时间到，所以我的妈妈和婆婆她们两人先来了杭州美居，来之前因为有之前美居的阴影，我还跟她们打预防针说：不要报很大的希望，这只是一个美居而已，睡一觉而已。 但是先行部队妈妈团们给我的反馈却是完全不一样的，她们刚到酒店，妈妈就发微信了，这个酒店的工作人员好热情，陪我们上55楼，还给我介绍房间设施，介绍窗外设施，还介绍我们去看灯光秀，这个人的名字我拍下来了，我一看照片——Eric。 然后的大半天时间里就不停的eric怎样eric，感觉Eric就是她俩的贴身管家一样了，感觉把两位老人照顾的很好，他们满意的不得了，她们开心我就开心。 退房后又接到酒店的电话，说我们房间遗落了一部手机，然后又是这位eric，叫了当天到的快递，给我送到了我第二天的住处，非常的有责任感和有职业素养，还让我们收到了告诉一声，这样他就放心了。 后来特地打电话到酒店找到eric表示感谢，而Eric很谦虚还说这是应该做的，他的一句话让我印象非常深刻，他说：虽然我不能代表所有酒店人，但是我可以很保证的说，杭州新城美居酒店，会给您带来不一样的体验，安心，舒心，值得托付。 真的，因为eric的服务太好了，以至于后来到了某五星级酒店我妈妈都感觉有落差了，还在说还不如在钱江美居多住一晚.....本来我已经决定不再住国内的美居了，但是真的靠eric，为美居这个品牌挽回了一个雅高会员的心了。 值班经理Eric，我为你点赞！我们还会回来钱江新城美居！

Nice hotel perfectly located easy to access. The hotel being quite new is very good. and and clean. Unfortunatelly no staff speak English in this hotel which is a bit surprising for an international brand and 4 stars.

long wait at reception at check in at about 9.30 pm only one member of staff on coping with about 5 guests at the same time. The Bar was shut although it was advertised as still being open. I was served but it was really expensive - the most expensive bar in a hotel I have ever stayed in & I've stayed in luxury 6 star hotels who charge a lot less.No mini bar in bedroom, no room service although I'd paid extra for a room with a mini bar knowing I would be late in.
