Modern Hotel Close to the Sea.

The modern,chic Mercure Rayong is located in the small village of Laem Mae Phim in Rayong Province.The hotel is split into two sites some 600 metres apart,the Garden Wing & Ocean Wing both very attractive properties. Personally I think they should be classed as two separate entities as breakfast is served only in Ocean Wing so if you are staying Garden Wing you have to use the shuttle bus everyday.A small inconvenience but it would be a negative if I was there for a period of time. My first visit I stayed Garden Wing suite with great views from the balcony overlooking The Gulf of Thailand.The room was huge with comfortable bed,big screen tv,a large settee to relax and a modern bathroom with tub & shower.Even though classed as Garden Wing it was a very short walk to the beach road which were lined with seafood restaurants,a few 7/11’s & couple of bars.The Garden Wing also had a large swimming pool in pleasant surroundings. My second visit was to The Ocean Wing.Room again was modern and comfortable but this time with a limited balcony view and felt darker from the trees and foliage in the pleasant gardens. A beautiful breakfast area and swimming pool overlooking the ocean was very calming. Overall both very enjoyable visits.

เป็นประสบการณ์การพักผ่อนกับครอบครัวที่ีมากๆ โรงแรมสวย ใหม่ สะอาด การบริการดีมากๆ เราพักโซนการ์เด้น ห้องพักใหม่ สะอาด เตียงใหญ่ห้องใหญ่มาก มีรถรับส่งไปที่โซนริมทะเลด้วย สามารถเล่นสระน้ำหรือทะเลได้ อาหารเช้ามีให้เลือกหลากหลาย รสชาติอร่อย บรรยากาศดีริมทะเล ถูกใจมาก ตกกลางคืนไปนั่งที่รูฟท๊อปชิวๆได้อีก ชอบมากค่ะ

Lunch experience with bad dogs

Went for lunch today. At the next table a couple with three dogs including one more than dangerous. They took 2 tables to protect their dogs against heat. Staffs were terrified. Other customers stay away. I do not know if Mercure has a dog friendly policyand if yes I will avoid this hotel in the future. Being dog friendly is not a problem if the hôtel communicate carefully its policies but welcoming unfriendly dogs is not acceptable…

ที่พักมี 2 wings คือ Ocean wing และ Garden wing ซึ่งเราคิดว่าอยู่ที่เดียวกันแต่คนละปีกของตึก แต่ที่จริงมันอยู่คนละที่ แต่ห่างกันไม่มาก เดินได้ และ Garden wing สวย สระว่ายน้ำกว้าง เพียงแต่ไม่ได้ติดหาดเท่านั้น แต่เดินไปหาดหน้าตึกได้ไม่ยาก ผู้ที่พัก Garden wing ในวันธรรมดาต้องไปทานข้าวเช้าที่ Ocean wing มีรถรับส่งตลอด ไม่ได้ลำบากอะไรนะคะ Roof top bar อยู่ชั้นบนของ Garden wing หยุดวันจันทร์
