The bar is open almost the entire day, so you can enjoy breakfast and other meals during the day. Service is personalized and the food cooked by Alice is delicious. Happy to come back and enjoy this place again

Great location in Copacabana, easy walk to Ipanema. Essential stores all around the hotel. Located at the beach allows you to go for beautiful walks along Copacabana beach. Very helpful employees and the overall style of the hotel was modern but still cozy. Looks like it was recently renewed. My room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great with amazing fresh fruit and Alice made the most delicious omelette.

В общем, у меня смешанные чувства, на самом деле. Сам отель классный, к нему претензий никаких нет. Хороший номер, халаты, тапочки, чай, кофе, все ок. Прекрасные завтраки, также мне понравился ресторан. Из бассейна открывается чудесный вид на Копакабану. Рядом есть супермаркет и фруктовый магазин ) Вот только район так себе, какие-то бродяги повсюду, средь белого дня у меня пытались украсть цепь с шеи, ничего не получилось, но цепь порвали :( В отеле оставил две зарядки при выселении (решили уехать на Барра да Тиджуку), приехал за ними через 3 часа, зарядок уже не было в номере и никто их не видел. Через 3 дня написали, что зарядки нашлись, но мы уже были в Сан-Паулу. Вот такие дела. А зарядки со шнурками оригинальные, по цене как номер в этом отеле за сутки каждая ) Резюмируя: отель рекомендую, район - нет! ))

My previous reviews about my many stays at GM Copa are detailed enough to provide any reader both a broad and a specific idea of how perfect this hotel is and how wise the choice for a few or many days there indeed is. Waking up to the frontal view of Copacabana and afterwards enjoying breakfast at Vizta on the 12th floor are the first steps of a glorious day. Soon a couple of changes/improvements are to take places, being a corner to wash the sand off your feet being one. Lucas, Letícia, Ana, Rodrigo and the whole team excel at making all guests feeling completely at home, I look forward to my return already.

Stayed at the Grand Mercure in Rio for 3 Nights and being a Accor member this one of my go to brands. On arrival which was earlier than expected, we were greeted by pleasant staff who dealt with our booking efficiently and swiftly. Due to our membership standing we had use of the VIP Breakfast on the 12 floor which overlooked Copacabana Beach with a relaxed and excellent breakfast and attentive staff. Great cooked breakfast and a big thank you to Alice. Great hotel and would recommend.
