I was very comfortable, the location was great and the staff was extremely friendly. Especially Duda made my stay even better since she was speaking my language (Turkish) which is a rare occasion in Brazil!

My experience with Mercure Rio Boutique Hotel Copacabana was nothing short of exceptional — even before my stay began. Due to an unexpected medical emergency in my family, we were forced to cancel part of a non-refundable reservation at the last minute. Situations like this are always stressful, emotional, and difficult, and this is exactly where true hospitality shows itself. From the very first email, Larissa Marçal, from the reservations team, stood out for her kindness, sensitivity, patience, and professionalism. She followed my case closely, answered every message promptly, and handled a complex situation with genuine care and humanity. Despite the strict booking conditions and the high-season period (New Year’s in Copacabana), Larissa and the hotel team went above and beyond expectations. Not only was the cancellation handled with transparency and respect, but the refund was processed correctly and confirmed, which brought enormous relief to my family during a very challenging time. This level of empathy is rare and deserves recognition. Although the circumstances prevented us from using all the rooms, this experience left an extremely positive impression. It reinforced my trust in the Mercure brand and, above all, showed that this boutique hotel truly values its guests as people — not just reservations. I would like to personally thank Larissa Marçal for her outstanding support. She is a true asset to the hotel, and her dedication absolutely deserves praise and recognition. I would not hesitate to recommend Mercure Rio Boutique Hotel Copacabana to anyone — and I look forward to staying there in the future under happier circumstances. Thank you for setting such a high standard of customer care. 🌟

This is a very reasonable hotel over looking Copacabana beach. You cannot beat the location. While the hotel is not luxurious, it is clean and comfortable. The king size bed was quite large. The washroom bit small but perfectly fine. Our room over looked the beach and it was nice listening to the crashing waves during the night. The included breakfast was decent. This hotel is great value in a prime Rio location.
