Solid Hotel on the Edge of Copacabana. Clean, modern and nice staff. Breakfast has a lot to offer. On the first day it was very full with people but the other days it was less stressful. The rooftop is amazing and the food is delicious. Surroundings are not dangerous.

Brilliant hotel. We had a slight issue when we checked in as they had only made up 2 beds in the room, when we had booked for 3 people. They moved us to a new room and this was accommodated us. We had a partial view of the ocean, which was nice. The beds and amenities in the room were good. No water in the room but we got some from a shop just across the road. Noise wasn’t an issue for us surprisingly, as we were right next to the elevator. Breakfast was VERY busy from 8:30am to close at around 10am. You will have to wait but it’s not too bad. Hotel was brilliant, with a modern reception area and rooftop bar/ pool, overlooking Copacabana beach/ Leme beach. We also got some deck chairs to take to the beach which is less than a 3 minute walk from the hotel.

Do not let the 5 star satisfaction rating on here make you think this is a 5-star property, it is not. 3 stars at best. If you’re looking for a place to sleep and shower, this place will get it done. Rooms are dirty, sheets are dirty, bugs in the room, and leaking sink in the bathroom. The rooftop pool area is nice, but the pool is cloudy and has bugs and garbage in it. Breakfast costs approximately $36.36 for 2 people, and the food is moderate. The lobby during my stay (February 2025) always smelt like poop. Something to note, the lights in the hallways are motion censored. So, when no one is walking, they’re off and it may be pitch black when you leave the elevator or room. We were very frightening by this initially because it is not a practice we’ve encountered in a hotel.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The restaurant is limited for evening meals but the breakfast buffet is good, if you can get a table. Mostly tourists staying here. Rooftop bar is pleasant and the better place to get food. Don’t bother asking for a late checkout, it’s nearly impossible, which is a little limiting for business travellers. Good location if you want to visit Copacabana and Botofogo.
