The facility was beautiful and most of the staff were AMAZING. The room was nice and spacious. The pool bar was were we mostly hung out and the food and drinks wee on point. I had a 90 min spa treatment that was good. The spa amenities were great..the sauna, relaxation room, showers. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options with fresh fruit, juices, pastries and others items

Great housekeeping. Everything in order and very clean. Great staff. Debora, Mariana, and Rosa were very efficient during my week lol g stay. They always greeted you with a smile on their face and in their voice. The room was always well organized. I know I will miss this Great service when I get home and have to do it myself.

Fairmont is ideally positioned between Copacabana and Ipanema Beach. The room is ok, typical Fairmont standard, but unfortunately, our room is directly above the pool, where a) you can’t get a sun bed and b) the music in the evening is so loud you can’t sleep. Don’t worry they said, we have a beach club, guess what, no beds or chairs available there either. We tried to get a table for a snack and beer at lunchtime and nothing available. No apologies, just no, there’s nothing available. So we’re out of the hotel, giving out money to another well deserving establishment! So far, this isn’t the ideal Rio break we were hoping for however, one plus the concierge is brilliant. We’re here for another 2 nights so my view may change, if so I’ll update, if not, I’ll write a fuller more in depth review when we leave.

Fantastic hotel in an amazing location. Upgraded to a suite with sea view. So worth it. Pool facilities and restaurants were really good. Excellent breakfast choices and very convenient location for everything. Staff were very helpful also

This has been my third trip in two months at Fairmont Copacabana. Not just because it’s my company’s preferred hotel, but I keep coming back mostly because of the hotel staff I meet, and in particular Renata. She makes my breakfasts a true pleasure every day. She is very polite, service minded, and she balance her duties with an appropriate conversation level with the guests. She can be very proud of the job she is doing for her employer.
