La experiencia fue muy buena, como mejora podía proponer disponer de más iluminación en la habitación donde me hospede 621... La luz no era suficiente para poder trabajar o estar cómodo en la habitación. El desayuno muy bueno como así el resto de los servicios.

I'll never stay in another Novotel or any one of the group's other hotels again! Reception staff was offhand at best and showed little enthusiasm for us as guests. For starters, the hotel only provides one bloody coffee capsule in the room. Hello? We are two people and are paying top dollar for a Luxury Beach Room for TWO people. Reception said this was the policy of the hotel. So, we paid over $450 for three nights and they are so cheap as to "give" us only one coffee capsule. Forget about having tea! Next gripe had to do with a non-functioning bedside lamp. New light bulb needed but three trips by a technician proved beyond his ability. He told us the hotel did not have the light bulb in stock and would buy one the next day. Well, surprise, surprise, the next day rolled around and still no light bulb. On checkout, they charged me 16 reais for two extra coffee capsules and 120 reais for breakfast on the third morning. When I pointed out that our room rate included breakfast, the charge was withdrawn. The receptionist did not have it in her to even offer an apology! Noise from loud music at restaurants/clubs at the base of the hotel continued until 3 a.m. Sunday morning. Would have been nice if this so-called four star hotel put in proper windows to reduce the noise. On the positive side, breakfast was very good and varied.

While we are pleased that this aspect of your stay was satisfactory, we recognize that this does not make up for the other areas where we failed to deliver. Your feedback is invaluable, and we truly regret that we were unable to provide you with a better experience. We understand your decision not to return and respect it, but we hope that, in time, we can rebuild your trust and confidence in our brand. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts with us.

The Novotel Rio Vermelho is very well located in a nightlife district. There are bars and restaurants all around. We had a warm welcome from the friendly reception staff. The rooms were very nicely furnished and spacious. The breakfast tasted good and was sufficient. Value for money was excellent! Also recommended for people with a small budget

Fantastic stay! The hotel is beautiful. It is right on the top of the hill of Rio Vermelho and it offers a free service from the hotel to the main street and the other way around. When we arrived we found very nice receptionists. We were initially given an accessible room, we requested to change it as we were there to celebrate our honeymoon. One evening the hotel staff treated us with strawberries, chocolate and 2 brigadeiros <3 The room was very nice and clean, with all the comforts. The breakfast, unfortunately, wasn't very good. The quality was poor. The positive thing is that we could order omelettes and tapiocas cooked at the moment. All the staff very nice and friendly. Definitely recommended! :)

Nice hotel..make sure to upgrade to oceanview!! Nicw location and amazing views! I like that the hotel has a car service to take u up and down the hill..I preferred walking! Theres a nice pier down the hill with several dining options. Nice budget friendly hotel. Comfy and clean..No bells no whitsles but nice!! Id stay again
