For a 5 star hotel i was disappointed. The good: Fantastic location. Beds were comfortable and the shower and bath were huge! Eye Fillet in the Parc restaurant was a beautiful cut of meat and cooked well (Rare) The bad: Pillows were too soft. Water pressure in shower was low but I think that's because it was some environmentally friendly one. No spring water in the fridge, but they had sparkling water. Bedding was average (again I expected more for 5 stars) The meal we had was average. Chargrilled squid was so small it shouldn't have been taken away from its mother and there were about a dozen small cold rings. Eye fillet was lovely but the bearnaise sauce wasn't nice at all. For dessert we had snow eggs with a toffee that was stuck to the bottom of the plate and wouldn't move no matter how much we smashed it. Food was neither hot nor cold. Buffet breakfast was ok, again the food was neither hot nor cold. Would I have gone if I knew it was $40 a head - hell no! All in all, I would stay again if i had a night in town but eat at the local pub.

A beautifully maintained hotel, in a very convenient central location. The indoor pool and exercise facilities are excellent. A great buffet breakfast and well trained and efficient staff throughout the property. We used the hotel as a base for our short visit, chiefly to see the zoo before the pandas depart. All three generations of our family were well pleased with the experience.

I was in Adelaide for a business function and flew in early to catch up with my brother. Check in was fast and friendly and the room looked really nice, with a good view through to the Cathedral. We had lunch at the attached restaurant (Parc Brasserie and bar) the food and service was excellent, I can highly recommend the steak! I worked for a short time in the room, including a web meeting using the free wifi, and found the desk very well set up, except for one of the power points that was behind the vertical support for the lamp. The bed was very comfortable and there was a power point and a USB port by the bed for my phone and APAP machine. The bathroom was well laid out and had all of the supplies you could want. I had popped a button on the way over to Adelaide and the sewing kit came in handy. There was tea and coffee facilities, as well as some bottled water but you need to order items for the minibar. Overall a very nice hotel.

I would highly recommend the Pullman to anyone travelling to Adelaide! My stay was short but the whole time I was at the Pullman the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which was amazing. The hotel itself is really nice. The rooms were a very spacious size, room and bathrooms were all clean and had good room service. It is everything you need for a nice stay in Adelaide. I am very happy with my experience here!!

The hotel and staff? Mostly pretty good. Very good chef. I am a regular guest. At breakfast this morning, piped music through the restaurant reached a new low for me. A complete abomination of a multi Grammy awards winning artists song "sailing" by Christopher Cross. This "modern" version included vocals by a totally inept singer, together with a faster paced drum machine and synthesizer backing. Totally stark and lacking any humanity. I am a musician, so I have to speak out. To the management.. I know this rubbish music is cheap to license and play in the hotel. But, it makes your four star hotel sound cheap. Don't cut corners. You're guests for the most part would be boomers and the next generation after. They would have the same message for you because these cheap and very nasty cover versions were the soundtrack to their lives. You can't imagine how depressing it is to sit through that rubbish in the background. Please spend a little more money on your background music. It's many small things that make a good experience. Your music undoes all that. End of rant. Thanks for reading.
