My partner and I stayed at the Pullman recently, from the 23 – 26 November, 2024. We stay there quite regularly, and I have personally been a loyal customer for numerous years. Most of the staff there truly look after you and treat you with such kindness, care and nothing is too much trouble. We would like to mention the following people and offer them gratitude for their wonderful service – Rohan at breakfast time, Jenny who makes awesome coffee at breakfast, Jason, Clemont, and Georgia and Rohan on the desk, were all fantastic. The concierge crew are all such wonderful gentleman also. We love you JB, Christophe and David! Thank you so much for always being so awesome. Special thanks also to Adrian, who made sure we had a lovely dinner there. We were a little apprehensive to be there in the evenings as one of the bar staff (who may have been the evening bar manager) was quite rude to us and so we weren’t comfortable to go there. This was out of the ordinary and not the kind of courteous service we have always experienced and known at the Pullman. Thank you so much Adrian (and Georgia!) for restoring our faith and making sure we were really looked after. It was also great to see a sommelier in the restaurant – Toby was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our conversations with you. Vandro, at the bar, was amazing with his great service to us as well, and certainly made up for the other guy. The chefs are always awesome. On our previous visit, Sodhat (?), or I believe his nickname is ‘Diago’ came out to talk with us and looked after us like royalty. Thank you! Thank you also to Stella, who had just come on board the team. You made us feel very welcomed as well. And last but not least, the lovely Boman in the club lounge has always been the hospo star there – thank you so much dear Boman.

Would definitely agree with previous reviews that I did not find this a 5 star hotel. Lobby looked the part but rooms were your average, clean & modern rooms you'd expect in any decent hotel chain. Our room annoyingly had a rattly air con unit and the "cold tap" was always more than lukewarm which isn't great when they promote this as their drinking water.  The filtered water station at the pool was also more warm than cold. Our room also had a pet hate of mine of only one bedside table and plug point in the room and no comfortable chair/ mini sofa. There was also 2 occasions when the empty refillable bathroom products were not refilled by housekeeping. I this would be a perfectly fine hotel for a night or 2 but was a bit of a slog for a full week, space wise & convenice-wise. Unfortunately, don't think I'd stay here again given other options in Adelaide.

There's something that has changed with Accor, and this is another prime example, sadly not the first time I expereienced this from All.com We received a lovely greeting at Reception upon arrival as an an All.com member. Very prompt and easy check-in as all my details are on file. As a Sydney Radio Broadcaster, I had been up since 3AM. Our flight was delayed so I just wanted a beverage, a nightcap, before bedtime. I was certainly too exhausted to be sitting in the the Parc Bar in the hotel making social chit-chat, so I requested a small bucket of ice for the room so I could partake in my Duty Free bottle of whiskey, it was no problem for them - it was wonderful and quick service. Then upon checking, I was surprised that there was no FREE bottled water at the mini bar, nor in the bathroom. I thought this was odd for a so-called FIVE STAR Pullman Hotel. Now, I have been to Adelaide many time. Even my friends have bottled or filtered water because they cannot drink the water. Luckily I still had enough bottled water from our inbound flight on Qantas. The following morning, I advised that the tiny amount of UHT Milk was not enough for two people for two nights, the response: "We will bring you some more" ... I did not arrive The following night we called Reception at 4:15pm and requested another small bucket of ice. At 4:45pm it had not arrived so I called again. 5:15pm still nothing! Called reception: "Oh sorry sir, we have not (sic) ice tonight" Response from me: "OK, but you did not think to call and tell me"? BTW - Upon check out this morning, the milk had still not arrived. Frontline staff are charming and courteous, but they are being let down by the back end of Accor F&B and House Keeping IT'S A LOVELY HOTEL IN A SUPERB LOCATION, just don't expect five star service.

A factory of a hotel with location redeeming feature

We went for a superior room with balcony. A waste of money as on 3rd floor little view over hotel entrance and a lot of screaming kids running the corridor. Room also didn't smell the freshest and rather dark with bland decor. Felt like a very busy hotel with the full range of Coach parties, business men and families. 10 min queue just to get into breakfast and coffee took 15 min from order. Choice rather limited. Location was good although arriving by car and unloading can be stressful at peak periods as limited space for cars by entrance.

L'albergo Pullman Adelaide offre un'esperienza positiva nel complesso, con stanze pulite e ben fornite con prodotti per la persona di buona qualità. La sua posizione centrale è un punto forza. Il personale è molto cortese. Offre anche un servizio di deposito bagagli. Tuttavia, c'è spazio per migliorare l'organizzazione nella sala colazione e aumentare la varietà dei prodotti offerti. Esperienza molto positiva, ci torneremmo molto volentieri è sicuramente lo consigliamo.
