We had a corner suite with expansive views. The room was well designed although there was an anomoly between the advertising photos and the actual room in that there was a chest of drawers with a large television atop (this is simply an observation, not a complaint.) The room was quiet and the bed comfortable, although I'm not a fan of the ubiquitous triple-sheeting that has become de rigueur throughout the industry. The restaurant and bar - Garcon Bleu were exemplary. All the staff were excellent and the cuisine superb (take note Sotitel Darling Harbour.) I wasn't too thrilled by the 15% surcharge for the public holiday. Overall a very enjoyable stay and recommended.

Long story short it’s a good hard product but lacking that Sofitel service. No recognition of status on check in unfortunately but not a big deal. The lounge staff are amazing, take good care of us and remember our preferences especially the french team member and the lounge receptionist (sorry I didn’t get your names). The bell hop was also amazing! However, they’re definitely short staffed and considering they knew it was 100% occupancy they should have prepared for this. The lounge offering has reduced from previous stays, especially the breakfast which was not of great quality unfortunately. You can see other cost cutting measures around the property which is likely at the demand of the franchisee. Not at the same level of other Sofitels on service but the suite was great! Will likely not stay again and choose a different non Accor property in Adelaide as we’ve stayed 3 times for special occasions and kind of received the same service. I don’t like writing bad reviews but I think others should know what to expect :)

for us the absolute best hotel in Australia, which we have been. From check in to the staff, all high-class. Very friendly, helpful. Rooms were very clean. it was a pleasure to have stayed there. would go back immediately again. Location was great, everything in walking distance.

OMG. What a great Hotel. Stayed for 8 nights and loved everything about this hotel. The Lounge is great for a clam down after a busy day. Great staff that assisted us and made our stay special include but not limited to are Helen on reception, Roshan in the Lounge, Sharon our awesome Bfast Chef and not forgetting....Gogo at Restaurant. GM Scott was so visible and approachable. Food and drink in both Lounge and restaurant was brilliant. Great room was allocated to us as John has mobility issues. Thank you again all for a great stay. We will be back.

Wir wohnten eine Woche lang im 22. Stock mit einer großartigen Aussicht in die Adelaide Hills. Auch in anderen Aspekten ist die Lage am Rande der Innenstadt großartig, denn Einkaufsstraßen, Parks (incl. eines sehr schönen Zoos), gute Restaurants (vom sicher auch sehr guten im Hause, das wir leider aus Zeitgründen nicht probieren konnten abgesehen) und Veranstaltungsorte sind bequem fußläufig zu erreichen - in unserem Falle sogar nur etwa 3 km bis zu einer ehemaligen Formel-1-Rennstrecke, die immer noch dann und wann tolle Veranstaltungen bietet, so während unseres Aufenthaltes das Finale der australischen Top-Motorsportklasse. Unser Zimmer war von sehr generöser Größe und bot auch viel Stauraum für unser (auf drei Wochen gerechnetes, samt Opernbesuchen!) Gepäck. Außerdem viele USB-Ladeanschlüsse im Zimmer verteilt - kein elektronisches Gerät bleibt unaufgeladen ;-) Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksangebot, nicht ganz billig, aber preiswert. Das Personal ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Bei Anreise mit dem Auto: streßfrei-bequemes und ggf. regengeschütztes Ausladen in einer Durchfahrt hinter der Hotellobby. Garagenplätze gibt es in ca. 100 m Entfernung in einer an sich recht geräumigen Hochgarage zum Hotelgast-Sondertarif. Einfahrt dort nicht ganz locker möglich, da sehr enge Kurve zum Einfahrtsschranken - im Zweifelsfall besser ein kleineres Auto mieten...
