We came here for a four-day trip, which was very pleasant. The hospitality service of the whole hotel was very good, and we were equipped with a personal butler. My butler is Mr. yasru, who is very warm and makes me feel very warm. He also took us diving for two days. It was a fantastic trip. Look forward to seeing you again

It’s our first time to Maldive. We chose Raffles as the honeymoon destination over hundreds of islands and that’s proved a perfect choice during the 7-day stay. We experienced both sand and overwater villa. Well-maintained room facilities like big pool, tropical shower, Turkish bathtub, four-poster wooden bed and others with housekeeping twice a day make the stay better. Butler Liza and Nattu has arranged everything we need for us since the first day arrived and became a part of our unforgettable honeymoon memory. And Nattu showed my wife the turtle during the snorkeling trip in the last day that makes her very excited. That is so thankful to Nattu. We almost tried every single dishes in all three unique restaurants. Fine-dining menu provides luxurious dining options for us. Liz gave us her incredible service as well as other useful recommendations to us. The only matter is that all dishes are so huge that makes us belly big everyday. I myself like to spend most of my time in both bars, especially the Long Bar. My favorite is Ipanema made by Kat. She also made a dozens of nice cocktails and mocktails for us. We’ve tried many activities in the island and most of them were my first time trying. Except of the nagging topic snorkeling, which is amazing to see so many ocean creatures and corals led by Liza ofc, the first yoga experience gave by Ansuman just under the sunset was great. And ocean butler Jason introduces various kinds of ocean knowledge to us, perfecting our concept to this whole new place. Whatever, Raffles Maldives Meradhoo will be a great place for couples to take their private time and leave uninterrupted. Hope to come back next time.

Bucket list resort for family celebrations

This was a bucket list resort for us and we decided to take the plunge for our 60th birthdays , retirement and my brother's birthday. We have visited The Maldives 9 times now and stayed at 12 resorts. Raffles was a beautiful small picturesque island and very typically Maldivian to us. I will try to cover the good things and some not so good. As said the Island is extremely pretty, the reef is beautiful with many corals coming back which is wonderful to see. Fish are many , but not the variety we have seen elsewhere. We were lucky to see Turtles and sharks, no Rays though. The reef is very easy to access and currents were not strong. The rooms are lovely, very spacious and probably our favourite room of all the resorts we have visited. Lovely pool , large walk in closet and sumptuous bed. We were on half board and found the food to be excellent, breakfast was huge with many different options and evening dinner in all the restaurants was Devine. We were treated to a special Peruvian dinner by the chef at the Yuzo, had homemade chocolates and Macarons from Shen at Thari. They really go above and beyond to ensure your stay is special. We had spa treatments included and they were one of the best we have ever had. Yasir was our butler and he did a wonderful job, not to intrusive, but when needed he was there. I was unwell one night and he even came to my room and delivered a fresh coconut and some snacks as I couldn't eat with the rest of my family. Extremely thoughtful and very much appreciated, Thank you Yasir! Now as with many other islands in The Maldives, Raffles to has an erosion problem, our first rooms had little to no beach and this unfortunately for me is a no-no, this was dealt with very quickly and efficiently by Yasir and we moved the next day and our family the day after that to a room that had a beautiful beach area. The not so good. The public pool was just not nice, the sea being high had got into the pool and this made it slimy and sandy and very unclear, it just didn't feel hygienic and was a bit of a disappointment as because we were with family it's nice to sit around the pool together chatting and having the odd cocktail, but luckily we did have a pool with the villa and they also organised to have four sun beds at ours so we could sit together. All in all a wonderful stay that was most definitely helped by the wonderful staff, Alfie our waiter and all the truly beautiful wait staff whose names I forget or cannot spell ! Shen who just made sure we were happy all the time, the room attendants who did such an amazing job, pool man and grounds keepers, all were just incredible and of Yasir our butler. Thank you all for making our bucket list holiday so special. We will have the memories forever.
