Wonderful hotel with kind, friendly staff!

From the moment we walked in the door, we received an overwhelming warm welcome. Everyone we interacted with went above and beyond for us. So kind and polite. Our rooms were beautiful, super quiet and clean. The beds were comfortable as well. Honestly, we slept the best at this hotel of the 3 we stayed at in Europe. We had breakfast each morning and ordered room service and all of our food was delicious. We utilized the zoo tickets and loved that we could enter the zoo from the property. We also loved that the location was in walking distance to restaurants and shopping (about 15-20 min casual walk). The Cafe am Neuen See, Biergarten, a lovely indoor/outdoor restaurant with a park setting was steps away and also had really good food or a nice place to have a beer or cocktail to unwind. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful and memorable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Staff is very helpful and friendly the hotel is modern and rooms are well equipped on first night the air conditioning in our room was not working well so it was too hot , but after we complained the hotel upgraded us to a suite with good air condition, so the other night were excellent. Breakfast is very good with menu for eggs and coffee and small buffet (with nice variety)

Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The rooms and facilities are artistic and stylish. The staff is friendly and so amazingly helpful. The location is beyond compare. If you are in Berlin, you absolutely MUST stay at the SO/Berlin Das Stue!!!

This hotel is magic. The hotel itself is beautifully furnished and the finishes are ultra luxe and top notch. The location - right on the edge of Tiergarten and the zoo - is ultra tranquil but it's so easy to get more into the city center. In terms of customer service, my husband and I were so impressed with this hotel. I was involved in a very unfortunate e-bike accident in the city and the night manager Max not only took me to the ER at 1AM but also brought me packs of ice and extra pillows for my elbow over the course of several days. We couldn't believe his kindness and generosity. Never have we experienced such service. He truly went above and beyond for us and for that we are so grateful. We were so sad to check out of the So/ Das Stue - it was a true sanctuary for us when we were in Berlin. We can't wait to come back but are also eager to check out the sister properties around the world.

Great stay in a tranquil setting

I rarely write reviews, but my recent stay deserves a shout out to this lovely property and its great personnel. The building is gorgeous, the room extremely quiet and comfortable, the breakfast marvelous and the staff, from front desk, to dining area, to patio bar were uniformly outstanding. I loved being on the edge of the Tiergarten, but only a twenty minute walk, through gardens along the canal, to the Zoological Garden train station. The outdoor restaurant nearby, across from the Spanish Embassy, was terrific and reasonably priced.
