A great location, directly at the subway station, just beside KadeWe, can’t get better location and connection to public transportation. Hotel was very clean, modern, no damages visible and friendly staff. Only problem: no parking spaces. For arriving by public transportation, this hotel can definitely be recommended

Perfectly situated for touring and shopping in Berlin

This Mecure did not disappoint. Rooms were fantastic, well serviced and spacious. We toured Berlin with ease from this point. Lots of easy access to transport as well as great restaurants in walking distance. Will definitely stay here again

Not as good as used to

I stay almost every week at Accor group and had also in this hotel before very good experiences. This time at the check in was the employee in a bad mood unfortunately, very unfriendly and for example not providing the wifi-vouchers. When I wanted to use my welcome drink voucher the bar was closed (Monday evening 20:00), according to the same reception lady "bad luck, come back tomorrow".. when I explained I am this time only 1 night here, she gave me a bottle with a look like "drink and disappear NOW".. Further all good, and the check out was as usual friendly and fast with the morning staff !

A very very poor way to encourage customer loyalty

I had been happy with my stays at Mercure Wittenbergplatz, a hotel I'd used for a number of business trips. But it's funny how my loyalty has NOT been rewarded when I needed to move or cancel a booking that I had mistakenly not booked with the "flexi" feature. Despite explaining in detail why I needed to make a change and how I'll be making a number of trips next year and happy to continue to use their hotel, my request was rejected and in a very clumsy/automated style of reply. So guess my loyalty isn't valued and let's face it there is not a shortage of hotels in Berlin. Very shortsighted and poor customer service.
