The Angsana Laguna Phuket resort is a stunning, expansive property that seamlessly blends luxury with the natural beauty of its surroundings. The resort and its rooms have been thoughtfully designed and are very well maintained, As part of the Banyan Tree brand, the resort exudes elegance and meticulous attention to detail (small touches like oil-scented rooms enhance the experience – my go to was lemongrass and life has never been the same since). It offers a peaceful experience in a truly beautiful part of the world. I booked a basic room and was upgraded to an ocean view room. The views from the room and balcony were amazing and well worth the additional cost. I had considered booking an ocean view room at the time of booking, and the price difference was reasonable. However, I wanted to see the view before committing, and the hotel kindly upgraded me at no charge. These rooms are the closest to the beach and furthest from the lobby/reception. The hotel provides a buggy service from reception to room and vice versa but it is entirely walkable health/fitness and weather permitting. The hotel also offers a ferry service that connects you to a small shopping centre, which includes a large convenience store, foreign exchange, and pharmacy. I highly recommend using this service to soak in the beauty of the lagoon and the property. A shuttle vehicle is also available to connect you to this shopping centre. Additionally, you are a short Grab ride (within 100-200 baht each way) to Boat Avenue, the food, beverage, and shopping hub of the area, and popular beach clubs. The beach clubs at the hotel itself are quiet and not too busy. The hotel has plenty of in-house dining options, and there are also a few small restaurants and bars on the beach within walking distance if you don’t feel like venturing out. Grab food delivery is also allowed into the hotel. The staff were fantastic, and the breakfast spread was great. The gym is well equipped and there is also a free group fitness timetable that changes day to day. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be the shower pressure, but this is a very minor issue and could be specific to the room and it still did the trick. I will leave you with one thought: the Laguna/Bang Tao area offers a few 5-star hotel options and Angsana is rated #1 on TripAdvisor based on traveller reviews. It has stood the test of time and you can’t go (and won’t go) wrong.

The room is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. The view from the room is amazing, especially during sunrise and sunset truly impressive. The bed is soft and very comfortable!! I will definitely come back again when I have the chance.❤️

The room has an amazing atmosphere. Just a few steps from the room and you can feel the sea breeze and hear the waves right away. The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for relaxation. Whether you’re chilling by the beach, watching the sunset, or taking a morning walk, every moment is so beautiful that you can’t help but stop and take photos. we will back for next holiday 💖

We spent my husband's birthday here at the start of the Christmas season. I felt like I didn't need to go anywhere else in Phuket. The hotel had all the facilities I needed, the beach and Rava Club were so beautiful, the service was great, and the hotel even gave us a birthday cake. I'm so grateful to Angsana Hotel for giving my husband, kids, and me such wonderful memories.
