Amazing Hotel we stayed at this wonderful hotel for 12 nights it’s superb from fantastic staff who go out there way to help you to the dining experiences and fabulous bedrooms with pools to the stunning grounds and beautiful hotel we will certainly return thank you for your hospitality

Excellent hotel and amazing staff. The main pool- From the main pool the staff poo and team made our day by the pool fab. Giving us melon ice cream h20 regularly. The pool also has water floats and rubber rings to use on the little lazy river. Saffron restaurant stunning food in an ideal setting. Fabulous staff who describe what food is. The food is of a high standard but doesn’t fill up large appetite’s . The breakfast was well managed with hot noodle bar outside. It has a fabulous choice from hot and cold food . They also allow you to take away your breakfast if you desire. We stayed in a two bedroom pool villa. 811. The room s are amazing with regular twice daily maintenance and hotel room apartments are stunning. The pools feel warm and are well maintained. Small added touches are a lovely surprise - which I won’t spoil for you all. Health classes The yoga and Pilates classes are fabulous taken by a qualified instructor. They alsooffer other activities to from sound baths to beach walks to exercise classes. The gym well maintained . The use of bikes throughout the complex was added fun. Jetty- The boat leaves the hotel to its sister locations and there is a chemist as we did become unwell for 24 hrs and it’s handy to know we’re the chemist is. There is also a Tops shop and a few shops. Local taxis offer good rates and we went into pukhet old town and to Patong for a good price. The negatives if I have to say is- The midges are an issue with two people from my party covered in nasty bites even when wearing clothes to cover you and using all feet products. This is an issue !! Also a self wash service would really benefit clients. All staff from gardening staff to hotel manager were amazing and really made our stay. The security staff and buggy drivers and well as maids and in room pool service were warm and friendly people. A fantastic hotel

A nice stay

We stayed a week here. The welcome was nice with a drink and flowers. We felt that the hotel wasn't explained very well to us. We were given a booklet but its such small writing it was hard to read. We could use a QR code also. ~we asked art reception for an activity sheet which has all the gym classes on. and a paper map of the hotel. This would have been helpful at check in. We also didn't know about the lighting of the lights in reception area every evening or the massage by the breakfast in the morning. We stayed in a suite near the lagoon with a pool. A beautiful room with a raised bed overlooking the private garden with a gap in the wall to see into the lagoon. The room had everything you needed. Fridge, coffee machine, kettle, seating area and big tv. A bowl of fruit which was changed throughout your stay and plenty of filtered water for you to drink. A bath outside in a courtyard which was quite quirky although we didn't use it. The shower was huge and lovely soap etc. We were bitten by mosquitoes even though we had washed in the soap and sprayed ourselves a lot and had bracelets. It was probably because we were close to the lagoon, maybe rooms further away may be better. In the room there was a plug in mosquito repellant. The bed was quite soft but comfortable . Maybe a suggestion of a top sheet on the bed as when it gets hot you can threw off the duvet and still have a sheet to cover you to help with not being bitten by the mosquito. Breakfast every morning was really lovely with amazing choices for all nationalities. Champagne was delicious and the view across the lagoon lovely. The staff at breakfast and by the pool were very friendly a great team of people. The food in Saffron was delicious as was the food in the golf area. There is a boat to take you to the beach which we didn't get to use as weather a bit rainy. The pool area very nice and very comfortable beds. We had use of a bike which was quite fun cycling around or if you didn't want to walk or cycle then they would pick you up in a golf buggy but no where was that far. Being on a resort with lots of other hotels in their own resort I did feel away from the hustle and bustle of Thai culture but you can always go on excursions and the taxi if you book through an app are really good and very cheap.

Great dinner at Hojo

Had dinner at Hojo, Japanese Restaurant. Good choice and food of excellent quality in the special surrounding of the Banyan Tree hotel. A Japanese restaurant of that style was surely missing in the Laguna area. Big compliment also to Loolesoyn, Ticha, Nicha for their excellent attention and service.

All the services were good. The staff always smiled and provided good service, and the room condition was very satisfactory. There was a lot of service in the lobby from time to time, and happy hour is everywhere, so it's not boring to stay in the hotel all day long
