Double Pool Villa

I had high expectations as we are familiar with Banyan Tree Bangkok but this place simply takes hospitality to a new level ! The double pool villa was insane to say the least. It actually took us two days to simply get over how spectacular the property is and what really is so impressive is the attention to the smallest details. To be honest it felt like we were spending our time in a private palace. The restaurants are another gem in this incredible resort. Food is Workd class and service is out of this World. Our favourites are Saffron and Hojo. I will not even mention the breakfast ! By far the best I have ever had in any hotel or resort in the world. The freshness and presentation of the food was outstanding and every morning the selection was changed, so never the same food. The selection was also staggering, catering for any nationality in the world. Truly breakfast is a stand out and another reason why this resort is a must. But most importantly what makes a property stand out in a timeless way are the staff. Forgive me for not remembering the names of every single staff who made this trip so special. Our host Best, was truly the best ! The wonderful housekeeping ladies that paid attention to the smallest of details, the buggy staff who could not have been more cheerful and helpful to the wonderful girls in the spa, Nam and Earn. A big thank you to all the reception staff and restaurant staff - You are exceptional ! We simply do not want to leave tomorrow but I can promise we will be back many more times and hopefully with more family and friends. What a fantastic resort. Everything you need is taken care of. The staff are extremely friendly, and very helpful as well as always polite, and come across that they can't do enough for you. The free use of bicycles is a very good addition, due to the site being so big and the heat of the day, its a very good option, you can opt for collection by one of their buggies; however the bikes allow you to see more. The only negative, is that we really struggled to find different locations to eat, there are several restaurants; but during our stay we could only eat at one due to the others being booked for private functions and not open to residents, this was very disappointing to see. There is a beach, this is a five minute ride away, and is really well maintained. The ability to swim in the sea appears limited due to the conditions and tides, but you get to enjoy the sand and sea air. All is all a good resort for all, but be warned on the potential food limitations.

Fantastic massage at the Banyan Spa with Gia

Excellent massage at the Banyan Spa with Gia. Selected the 90 min Thai Classic massage which involved a mix of stretching as well as deep tissue oil massage. The spa venue was beautiful and straight away you feel transported. After changing and a quick foot scrub, the massage started. Gia had a really great technique and knew when to apply pressure and when to ease off in the sore spots. A perfect mix of therapeutic and relaxation. I’d like highly recommend her if you have the chance to visit.

We had a really good time there. The room was spacious and luxurious, the food in a Thai food restaurant was excellent! The floating bar is very romantic and the way to the beach with boats is special. The spa was awesome. The price is not cheap but worth experiencing. I had the best massage ever. The staffs are very helpful. I proposed my fiancé during the stay, the staffs helped me a lot. Lucky, the woman staff was excellent. She asked me how I made the surprise and taught me about the preparation of the surprise proposal during our dinner. So I could make the perfect proposal. I really appreciate her help. We definitely come back to this hot

The hotel is wonderful and very big. The lobby is so welcoming and the place oozes relaxation, but the highlight was the spa. I had the most amazing massage and they were so accommodating with my last minute appointment. I would definitely recommend.
