New hotel with poor room design

We stayed for two nights. Room design is horrible. Bathroom is essentially part of the room. No closet. A few hangers above the coffee counter. Not even a hook to hang a coat. Breakfast was 15 euro, not 9 like website says. It was good, but confusing with small buffet area, and most food brought to your table. We stayed at Estrela hotel before, and that was a better choice. Seems that whenever I stay at Accor chain hotel I’m disappointed.

The hotel is a cool concept of registration and bar all in one. Its clean, sleek, and the rooms are good sized. Arrival was a breeze. The onsite parking makes things very easy with the hotel conveniently located. The breakfast is a bit expensive for what you get compared with other properties in Portugal and at $16.00 is frankly ridiculous for a very limited menu without a real cooked to order breakfast other than sunny side eggs. The other egg option was cold hard boiled eggs. If it had not been for Diana who was extraordinary by going out of her way to get us cappuccinos and working around the significant limitations of the breakfast offering, we would have just left to get breakfast elsewhere. We also had the opportunity to dine at the restaurant and while the service was excellent the sea bass filet I thought was microwaved and was awful, and the hamburger ordered medium well came rare. The hotel has kinks to resolve in the restaurant area although the rest seems reasonably well managed!

Stayed 2 nights. Hotel is conveniently located by the church and many cafes. Room was very comfortable. You’re able to control the AC in your room. Our room had a mini fridge. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Special thanks to the bar staff for providing us with a bucket of ice. Only soap and shower gel provided. Bring your own shampoo & conditioner. No iron in the room. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Hotel has excellent location. Just beside Fatima sanctuary. It is modern hotel with very nice rooms. Breakfast is just fine. However, they need to train their staff to be more customer friendly. Just had not so good experience with one staff. Have stayed in this hotel previously. Didn’t have problems with previous stays. Hope will have better experience in the further. Overall, still a very good hotel.

Great location directly across from the sanctuary. Hotel is new with modern rooms and on-site garage parking. Price is reasonable and service was good. On-site restaurant available with decent fare. Hotel is also connected to a gift shop and top rated lunch restaurant.
