Great hotel but not worth considering the price you pay

Outstanding hotel with Egyptian theme in the area near Wafi Mall. Rooms are spacious with good quality furniture and lightning. The best highlight are the rooms with higher floors where the entire Dubai Creek can be viewed. Issues and concerns considering the price you pay: 1) No communication for room readiness and waiting in the lounge for an hour, even when the room was made ready. 2) Empty body wash and lotion containers. 3) Loose sockets, specially at the tea/coffee making area. 4) No invoice on email, when specifically requesting for the same. 5) Felt that reception staff quickly felt frustrated if you call more than twice for some specific request. 6) Poor selection and number of items in the breakfast.

The bed is good the food tasted amazing and zaffer helped us a lot we enjoyed our time the hotel was so clean the service was really good the mall was right next to us and we could walk their easily the garden was truly amazing the cleanliness of this hotel was top tier

This is our first time at the sofitel dubai the obelisk and we cant be more pleased about it, the room is big and clean and the dinner have so many options of food and drinks not to forget the staff is very respectful and helpful and kind, thanks to ZAFFER and Sunita, they were very polite and helpful, we recommend it very much

I’ve a long history with Accor. I’ve been an elite member for several years, at different levels. This year unfortunately I’m only Silver, but in all the stays that I did this year I’ve always received an upgrade anyway. I’ve booked a Panoramic Suite at this Sofitel, but they denied me an upgrade to the one bedroom suite. Ok.

What can I say , second visit better than the first . The hotel is stunning , all the staff are very helpful and friendly . We had a Club room , the food and drinks are amazing in there . One of the staff told the chef that there was only a couple of Canapés that wasn't meat and he made me some veggie ones especially. The rooms are big with stunning views, Balmain products in the bathroom . The staff at the spa always say hello when you are on the way to the pool . This hotel is 10/10 . Thank you for another faultless stay .
