This hotel in Hamburg Hafen is a gem with plenty of style and charm. The breakfast room and restaurant, while small, are cozy and inviting, offering a great start to the day. Its location is perfect, with restaurants and a supermarket just a short walk away, and plenty of opportunities for scenic strolls in the area. The rooms are thoughtfully and conceptually designed, combining comfort with a modern touch. A standout feature is the complimentary minibar, which is especially convenient for late arrivals. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Hamburg. Highly recommended!

We booked through Accor All hotels app and were greeted the most warmly out of any hotel that we have stayed in whilst in Europe. The decor is absolutely fabulous, and the room was stunning. Beautiful Service, it was scrupulously clean and very well located right next to the train and in a very safe area near supermarkets and shopping. Nothing was too much trouble and the stuff with very accommodating, and even gave us a bottle of water for our onward journey. Highly recommend this brand, and this particular Hotel for your Hamburg stay.

Had a super stay at this hotel. Got the room 3h ahead of normal check-in time, room was cosy and with great soap/bath facilities from Swiss brand Soeder. Location is perfect, 1min from Ubahn, 10min walking distance from Elphi. You never go wrong with a 25H hotel :)

I have never had such a bad experience in my life I got to my room and couldn’t connect to the internet. When I call reception, no answer. I had to go down and explain the situation The receptionist said she had access and the problem was with my equipment. Then another guest said she had a similar problem. The receptionist then suggested that the issue maybe that the room is near a lift, I pointed out that my room wasn’t near a lift and I couldn’t get access in reception either Her solution then was that I should hotspot with my phone - in effect I pay for internet access at very expensive roaming rates as I live in Dubai I then suggested that I would look for a hotel that provided internet access and that they should reimburse my room rate. She said she wouldn’t be able to do that. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and she said no one was around When they sent an email asking for my feedback, they gave a link for negative comments to be addressed direct to the manager. When I do that, address bounced back Will take a lot of convincing to return

Great hotel with friendly staff

It has been mentioned a few times in other reviews, quirky, and it is the best word for a description. The hotel is next to where they are building a new Westfield, so I am guessing it will be busy going forward, but I was not disturbed by any building site noise. The staff were friendly and efficient, no stereotypes. Breakfast was good, buffet style with plenty of it to suit many different European tastes, bacon was especially good though I never found a toaster (how do you know someone is British, without asking...). Coffee was nice however tea seems to be the drink of choice in Hamburg. Had a shared lunch with pork, veg, spinach and a nice desert so the food also hit the spot. Now for the rooms, no complaints what so ever, the shower (a two piece rain and normal showers) was excellent, with quality soap/shampoo on hand. The bed was firm but comfy with plenty of pillows. A mini-bar is provided, that is free and in mine I got a Fritz kola, water, 2 beers and a chocolate bar, I say in mine because everyone I spoke to seemed to have different items. Now the quirky bit, the rooms are themed with mine having a rope ladder on the wall, an open sea chest for furniture, a hot water bottle, a sheep, a bluetooth speaker and bag for you to use while exploring Hamburg and last but not least the ships log book. There is a spa with sauna, German rules apply, with the sauna having a fridge full of beer/water. The lifts never seemed to be more than a minute wait, well apart from the third lift which I tried to use but would not work, my fault for not noticing crew only..... There are shops around the corner, with bars just across the bridge including the 'mini-bar' which is an experience. Even after a few tasty German beers I never tried climbing the rope ladder....... Only drawback from my point of view was the size of the safe in the room, I have an iPad Pro and it would not fit in the safe. First time that has happened for me, luckily did not have to leave it too long. Looking forward to returning.
