We were in AKL for our daughter's 18th b'day as she attended a concert in CBD as part of the celebration. Our stay at Fable was wonderful, I can't say enough good things about the experience - wonderful concierge and front desk service, close to great shops and dining, excellent buffet breakfast, marvellous beds with lovely linens, prompt valet car service, I cld go on and on. If you're looking for a special stay in Tāmaki Makaurau, this is it.

Unfortunately very disappointing. Family birthday high tea which had been very much looked forward to. Beautiful hotel, staff were friendly enough but not overly welcoming or involved. We didn’t even eat all the food, as some was stale or just stodgy that didn’t taste nice. Hate leaving a bad review, but I wouldn’t recommend and I wouldn’t return!

Peter the Concierge was super helpful, it is a delight when you come across such helpful people. Room: The mattress and pillows were great, the bathroom likewise fantastic with great shower fixture. We will most definitely stay in this hotel again but will choose a bigger room next time.
