Paris trip ruined by the staff at this hotel

Made an innocent mistake when booking one nights stay at this hotel, contacted hotel and customer service within 3 mins of booking and asked for the date to be amended. Flat refusal and content to send 7 lengthy e mails justifying their position rather than 2 mins amending the booking. Desperate sharp practice by a major corporate concern focussed on profit not customers. This would have been our 3rd stay at this hotel, we will not return to this or any other Accor / Ibis hotel. Shameful and unnecessary. Booking reference 18191304 26/1/25, to validate booking and e mail trail.

The whole place misses any kind of vibe… you will never get the paris feeling here. Low price might be only reason to go. Attached picture of bathroom says it all. Access to metro is good. Staff kind but lacking professional impression. Breakfast not great. Free coffee machine is a plus!

Lost item not returned

I left an item behind and contacted the hotel to get it back. They told me it would be 60 Euros to mail it. I responded asking to be sure the item was even there. They did not respond. When I complained with Ibis, the hotel responded they sent the item with the next touring company. I said they had no right or permission to do so and I didnt know who it had been sent with. Then they said they could send for a fee. They still have not verified that they have the item, and when I asked how to send the money they did not answer. Ibis corporate has not responded either.

Almost horror in connection with the 187 eur paid. Room somewhere half below groundfloor; luckily the shower cabin was quite new, but the bedsheets not that white. The price charged was an offense to what you can call value for money. Otherwise classic Ibis breakfast.

A great hotel in a nice area! The rooms are quite small but absolutely fine with everything you need. Nice bathroom. Very clean hotel. Breakfast was very good. The location: 2 minutes from the Metro station. Usually 2 different metro rides to anywhere. Easy once you get used to it. The staff are fab, but a very special shout-out to Renee on reception. He was very welcoming & friendly. Gave us good tips for travel. We felt we had a friend in Paris...Thank you Renee!
