Room smelt of sick, dirty "private cabin room" is claustrophobic and not private shared with others in the room, did not feel safe and could not stay still no refund.

Great stay for a group of friends attending a sporting event

Stayed at this hostel with 6 friends in November as we were all going to attend a rugby game at the stade de France. The location was great for us, as we drove in from the South of Paris, very easy to access. There is loads of parking spaces in the streets nearby the hotel so I would not even bother looking into booking the (rather expensive) underground car park, and the street parking rates are much cheaper especially on week ends. The location is also great for catching the train (RER B) that goes straight through the hearth of Paris and then direct to the Stadium. Check in was easy. We had to wait for our room to be ready but that was no bother. The foyer downstairs is nice and the staff quite friendly. Only downside is that we found the drinks downstairs to be quite expensive, comparable rates to bars in town when here this is just a quick drink in a platic cup. The room was nice (we were given a room for 12 as there was no room for 8 available). Bathroom was also convenient. Overall a great stay and I would absolutely do it again in similar occasions.

Bed Bugs

We were pretty satisfied with the stay until we found bed bug bites. As a result of this I would avoid the hostel. I visited from 11. October 2025.

Not ideal for work-related stays

While it’s already quite known that the rooms & toilets here often lack proper cleanliness, which I can confirm (and this is not the first time), what truly impacted my experience was the behaviour of the front desk staff during checkout. I requested an invoice for my stay, asking for it to be issued under my company’s name with the VAT number - a simple, standard request. The receptionist bluntly responded that the system was "closed" and refused to make any corrections, offering only to print the existing version. When I reviewed the invoice, I discovered that it contained incorrect details, including a fabricated customer profile showing the hotel’s own name and a dummy tax identifier (“1234567”) instead of mine. To make matters worse, the staff member became dismissive and rude during a conversation that I began with a polite greeting (which was apparently ignored). He talked over me and even suggested that I could have entered my company details in the "Name" field as a workaround. When I explained that I hadn’t been asked for my company details during the online reservation or check-in process, he maintained the same dismissive attitude, behaving as if it were a mistake on my part and didn’t seem to care. These issues collectively reflected poorly on the overall experience. While the place seems designed to project a cool, youthful vibe and primarily caters to younger tourists, those travelling for work might prefer accommodations where professionalism and service quality are prioritized.

Don't bother with this hostel. This is an establishment with good intentions ruined by staff who do not care. Although decorated nicely with a good outdoor area - everything else is lacking. It is staffed by people who shouldn't work in a hostel - borderline rude, no people skills, unfriendly and unapologetic when something goes wrong. When we arrived someone had slept in one of the beds we booked. We informed the individual at reception - there was no apology and a half attempt at fixing it. We were told to wait in our room for a pillow after receiving some bedding, and one would be brought up. We waited 30 minutes and when we went down to reception, the individual was sat at the desk talking to another employee. After asking, he said there were no pillows. Was he just going to leave us waiting all night? Following this, he upgraded us to a "cabin." However, these rooms are boiling at night as the air conditioning is awful. Advice - just pay the little bit extra and stay at a better hostel closer to the city, where the staff are actually friendly.
