すばらしい建築、すばらしい保存状態。好立地。１つ残念だったのは部屋で、蚊が数匹ひそんでいたので夜中に刺され、ベッドとシーツの湿気が快適ではなかった。スタッフは皆親切。歴史を感じられ貴重な経験でした。ありがとう！とても良い旅になりました。

インドネシア独立に関わる重要な事件があったと知り、一度泊まってみたいと思っていました。実際に泊まってみると、単に歴史的であるだけでなく、快適さやホスピタリティという点でも群を抜いており大変楽しい滞在となりました。歴史あるホテルということである程度快適さについては諦めていた部分がありましたが、その心配は完全に無用でした。Wi-fiは快適に繋がり、空調も完璧で、コンセントも必要な数が十分にあります。一方で1910年代からのホテルの伝統を思わせるクラシカルな雰囲気は存分に気分を高めてくれました。立地の面でも完璧で、スラバヤ市内のどこに行くにしても時間と費用をかけずに行くことができます。また徒歩圏内に自動販売機やコンビニエンスストア、飲食店などが数多くあります。ただそうした外の施設に頼らずとも、朝から夜まで営業しているレストランやインルームダイニングでバラエティ豊かな美味しい料理を楽しむことができました。スタッフの皆さんは大変フレンドリーでとても居心地が良かったです。何か問題があった時はすぐに助けてくれました。また日本語を交えて挨拶をしてくれる方もいらっしゃりとても嬉しかったです。

コロニアル式の建造物の価値を理解し、それを活かしていると思いました。歴史的な建物なので管理は大変だと思いますが、是非このすばらしい遺産を守り続けてください。またホテルのスタッフは皆さんとてもフレンドリーで、観光地についての質問に関しても親切に的確なアドバイスをくれました。マニュアル通りの接客ではなく自然な温かさが伝わり、好感が持てました。
