Very noisy rooms

Hotel is extremely noisy and really any sound is heard through walls that are like made of paper. All the talking in next room and corridor can be heard like it was next to you. Nice stuff, modest but clean rooms, good pillows and bed. Breakfast is rather good.

Gamble on getting a parking space after you've paid upfront for your room.

We chose this hotel although it is far outside Brussels, for its secure parking, its one disabled bay and because it had a restaurant open for dinner on the nights we were going to be there. I find it unacceptable that the Accor booking system (not just this hotel) does not allow you to reserve a parking space (disabled or not) in a hotel with 81 rooms and about 25 parking spaces (1 disabled) before taking your money for a non-refundable room! You can only ask for a space and pay the hotel €10 per night on check-in. I emailed the hotel and was given assurances that "a" space - they could not specify the disabled space - would be saved for me. But I arrived early just to be sure. Full credit to the helpful staff! What was I supposed to do if I arrived and all the spaces were already taken? On most nights, their car park was full and there wasn't anywhere else nearby to park. Luckily, no-one else had a blue badge so I had no difficulty parking, but I do not like trusting to luck when there is an obvious solution. Do something about it, Accor!

Unclean and unhygienic

I recently stayed at Ibis Brussels Erasmus and was utterly appalled by the lack of basic hygiene standards. Upon checking in, I was told that the room had been thoroughly cleaned and prepared after the previous guest’s departure. On the surface, everything appeared to be in order—the bed was neatly made, and the room looked clean. However, what I discovered later that night was beyond shocking. When I pulled back the covers to get into bed, I was horrified to find period blood stains on the bedsheet, clearly left behind by the previous occupant. This absolutely revolting discovery made it clear that the hotel had not changed the bedding between guests, despite their assurances. It’s one thing to overlook a small detail, but failing to change the sheets—especially when they are visibly soiled—is inexcusable and utterly disgusting. This incident not only ruined my stay but also raised serious concerns about the hotel’s overall cleanliness and the health risks it poses to its guests. If this is the level of care they take with something as basic as changing the bed linens, it makes me wonder what other corners they are cutting in terms of cleanliness and sanitation. I strongly urge anyone considering a stay at Ibis to reconsider. A clean bed is the bare minimum one should expect from any hotel, and if they can’t even meet that standard, they don’t deserve your business. I will certainly never be returning and will advise others to steer clear of this establishment.

Lovely stay, perfect location

Although the hotel is at the end of the Erasmus metro line, the hotel is only 2 minutes away on foot to the metro station, and it would take only 20 minutes to arrive at the Brussels Central station. The hotel is situated in a very quiet area surrounded by trees. Check-in was quick, and the receptionist was very polite. The room given was room number 209. It was clean, a decent size for 1 person, and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very clean, and it included the necessary toiletries. Room service was provided everyday. Breakfast was included, and it was a buffet. It included cold cuts, sweet pastries, hot dishes, cereal and coffee.. All in all it was a lovely stay, I would really recommend it and I would certainly revisit this hotel during my next trip to Brussels :-) Thank you for your lovely hospitality.

Appalled and mesmerised why you do not wish to earn money for your hotel Restaurant could not accommodate a coach party for food in the evening, which crazy when there nothing adulate around the local area Didn’t find staff at all helpful, they rather ignore customers who standing at the bar for ages cannot Allegedly you advertised coach parking when there none, I’d never personally book this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone Business is about keeping your clients happy not making them unhappy and make them feel you did not want us there
