Have better food in the buffet, dinner was a disaster at the main restaurant but then the chef tried to make it up for us. But unfortunately the time that was wasted was too much. The rooms bath tub isn’t working properly and the shower takes forever to heat. The birthday arrangement from the hotel was a kind gesture but to be honest the cake doesn’t taste good at all and I was hoping that when I arrive to the room the arrangement would already be there, but instead I had to show the reception the email from FAIRMONT and that my note was acknowledged but unfortunately I had to remind. The reading light on the right side of the bed doesn’t work. And the baby crib that I ordered also wasn’t In the room already when I arrived. The luggage took a lot of time to reach the room and my baby was crying because her changing bag wasn’t there for us to change for her even after calling twice it reached after almost 15-20 min. The only thing that is good in this room is the view.

Lovely stay at fairmont, we went for our anniversary, they decorated our room and send us the cake.❤️ One of the best hotel to stay. At the canvas restaurant Mr. Zullui and Chandni were very kind ❤️😊 and made us feel comfortable and checked out preference on food.

Fairmont Fujairah 14-24 Nov 2023 As a party of four, we arrived at the Fairmont at 3 am. Even at that time of the morning the reception staff were excellent, as we had arrived so early in the morning obviously no restaurants were open, but there was food waiting for us in our rooms. During our stay we were celebrating two wedding anniversaries and two birthdays. On each of these days cake was left in our room and on the birthdays a cake was bought to the restaurant and happy birthday was sung. On one of the birthdays we hired a chalet by the pool for the day. I do feel that the hotel could make more of these chalets as you would not know what they were or that you could hire them. There does not seem to be much information on them available . The chalet provided us with our own seating area and inside we also had a sofa, table, safe, air con, and TV along with a bathroom. While using the chalet we had waiter service for food and drinks. Everything was fantastic, the chalet rate was very reasonable at approximately 350 AED equating to roughly £76 GBP. The reception periodically call your room to ensure everything is ok and ask if you need anything, which in my opinion is very good service! We had lunch every day at the lava restaurant which is located by the pool. Again, I feel that the hotel could make more use of this by letting people know the availability of it and that you are actually given 100 dirhams per person per day to spend in the lava restaurant. 100 Dirhams per person was ample for us. We very rarely had to pay any extra. I think one downside to it is that the windows are so dark that walking by you cannot see in so you don’t know whether it is open or whether you should actually go in there or not. We went every day and there were never more than two tables being used at a time and we were on one of those tables, so my advice would be use the lava restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff are wonderful. It may be an idea for the hotel to give more info and maybe menus for the lava restaurant in each room. And maybe if it opened at night? I have read a few reviews where it says that the hotel rooms are very dated. I do feel that is unfair. They are slightly dated nothing that would put you off staying in them. I do feel that if you wanted to stay in the pomp and luxury of Dubai itself, then book a hotel in Dubai. This hotel had every amenity we needed and the rooms were perfect . Our cleaner, called Ahmed, was very attentive cleaning the rooms to a perfect standard every day and always checking whether we needed anything, we couldn’t have asked for more. The staff are a credit to the Fairmont, especially Sakil, Ardash, Tharuka and of course Ahmed. These guys were always on hand and happy to help with anything asked of them. I will say it again they really are a credit to the hotel. We also went to the copper lobster restaurant which is payable but worth it, you can use your 100 dirhams each credit there too. Food was amazing but again you don’t get much info on it, have a walk around and you will find it on the lower level. The arena sports bar is also down here and again well worth it! The hotel is kept spotlessly clean as is the beach. The beach is a bit stoney so you could bring beach shoes however once you’ve walked to the edge it isn’t too bad once you are in the water. The majority is sand but the pebbles are nearer the water. If you are looking for a flop and drop holiday, then this is the place to come. A note to the hotel management, please invest in a new quicker toaster 😂.
