We booked into the Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel for 4 nights on 18th September 2024 - after a small glitch at the beginning, the Hotel Manager and Staff sorted everything immediately. Thankyou. We also wish to say the Hotel Receptionist Uwais was most helpful and considerate with a pleasant smile whatever time of day we saw him. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff all had a great attitude with their customers. Briefly spoke to the Housekeeper as leaving and she too was extremely pleasant lady.  We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Mercure Thame Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in this area. Thankyou  G. H. Chappell

Just to say the Hotel staff were very good and pleasant. The food was great, but the room was not clean. The shower was dirty on the day I arrived and there were other hairs in the bathroom. The rug was dirty and I had carpet beetles running around a lot of the time. I complained and was told the room would have a deep clean. This didn’t happen.

Friendly staff but overall pretty poor. The hotel is in a nice convenient location and the public areas are modern and nicely decorated. The rooms are basic / plainly decorated and they are fairly filthy to be kind. See the attached photos. They are in despirate need of an update and lick of paint. The walls are covered in skuff marks from luggage and the carpets very dirty and worn. Tea / coffee provided was the cheapest catering sachets "freeze dried coffee" branded. Also the bedding was extremely poor with a very thin duvet and cheap synthetic pillows. The housekeeping service was extremely poor. The bed was rarely made properly nor toilet cleaned & no dusting for a long time as can be seen in the photos. The Wifi whilst OK when it is working makes you re-register and sign in every 24hours which is very irritating on a long stay. There really is no need for this. Once I have signed up on a device I would expect the network to remember me for the duration of my stay! I ate in the bar / restaurant on a couple of evenings and found the food to be of a poor standard and extremely overpriced. The service was friendly and efficient though. Breakfast was buffet style and was OK apart from the coffee machine which was out of order more often than not. There was also a very bad problem with flies in the breakfast area not helped by the large bowls of open yoghurt and fruit salad. It would be far better to provide eaither sealed containers or pots.

We had the most amazing wedding at this hotel. From the very first moment when we were shown around to the clear up afterwards the staff were super helpful, supportive and great fun. Admiral made sure the organisation ran smoothly. All the guests commented on the quality of the food and how comfortable and clean the rooms were. It was truly the best day ever! Thank you to all the staff for making it so special.

We came on business purpose in lambert hotel it was amazing experience overall, moreover we really enjoyed the food in kite restaurant because staff are very helpful and kind they always recommend us nice food special thanks to service team all are good in restaurants, hotel was good near to London city side, Restaurants Garden area very nice to enjoy meal.
