Pullman Rotorua Hotel 5 stars

When we arrived we were greeted by Crystal and she was fantastic, Welcoming, informative and couldn't do enough to make our first stay at the Pullman so good. She helped us with our vehicle and trailer too. This first experience was great and even better was that all of the staff were similarly helpful, friendly and most of all gave you time when you needed their help. We travel extensively here in NZ and when we could overseas, and the staff experience we had at Pullman last weekend was the best we have had anywhere. You should be very proud of them.

The staff service was impeccable. I could not fault any staff at the Pullman. My only issue which was a big one, was the design of the toilet and shower. For anyone who is sharing a room, there is absolutely no privacy for anyone wanting to have a shower. You typically take your clothes off before jumping in the shower, but there is nowhere discreet to do this. Also there is a slight gap in the door for both the shower and/or toilet, so people could see in. There is no lock on either doors aswell. I would never personally book a room again at this facility, unless it was solely with my husband. I would not recommend this place for anyone who is sharing a room due to the lack of modesty/privacy. I strongly believe a cavity door to create a separate bathroom area is needed.

We were extremely impressed with the room (apart from only 4 hangers for 2 occupants!) and the service in all departments, as well as with your delightful staff who were helpful and friendly. Above all when there was a serious problem with a water leak and the entire hotel had to be evacuated in the early hours your staff were very helpful and patient with the residents and extremely prompt in finding us accommodation in a nearby Accor hotel. We will certainly be back.

We stayed over for my Birthday. Overall everything was excellent, but just a couple of things bugged me, we had a Nespresso coffee machine but the capsules were not replenished every morning and there could have been more of them. The shower head was loose at the hose connection and water sprayed everywhere.

The Pullman was well located, very clean and the service was friendly and helpful.

Was good mostly. The no option valet parking a surprise and no pool.

happy with trouble gone for our wedding anniversary, thankyou.Didn't likehaving to have car parked out on street, & charging $100 bond first time this has happened.With being in our 70s & I have a lame leg would expect a bit better service, like parking car & not charging $25 & carrying bags. Didnt receive any water which we usually do. All in all not up to standard we have have received from other Accor hotels.

Parking a bit difficult unless have to pay

Hi, The hotel was clean and good location in the middle of Rotorua. But,,,,,, I'm going to copy this from the review I was asked for by the booking provider I used. I do travel and stay in places a lot with work, this was one of the rare time's I got to travel with the family. We booked for 2 adults and one 6 year old, this was specified from the start of the booking. On arrival at the hotel we find only one bed in the room. I went to reception and asked if they could move a small bed in for the 6 year old. They said they could, but it would be a $60 a night extra charge. "Oh, no" i say, we specified there was a 6 year old with us when I booked. The receptionist said it was expected by them that we would have the 3 of us in one bed. I said that was unreasonable in any hotel, especially a supposed 5 star one. The receptionist replied "this is what happens when you book through booking.com, you should always book with the hotel direct." So, am I being unfair on the Pullman and booking.com thinks this is reasonable, or is it a Pullman/Accor issue? Are people who use Booking.com "second class" guests? Sky city Grand, 3 weeks ago provided a bed for our 6 year old at no charge, so am glad I gave them a 10/10 score. In the end I paid $60 for one night and cancelled the second nights stay.

Only negative...no pool and your breakfast had no beef sausage so that persons from the muslim faith could also enjoy a hearty breakfast.

Well located, staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was spotless.
