Verblijf was prima, alleen de laatste avond na het diner liepen er ratten door de eetzaal. Dit hebben we gemeld zijn ook op zoek gegaan. Verder is er aan ons geen aandacht meer besteedt. Een sorry of drankje was volgens mij wel op zijn plaats geweest.

We fully understand how disturbing and disappointing this must have been during your dinner experience. We also deeply regret that after you reported the matter, you did not receive the attention, follow-up, or apology that you rightfully deserved. De correspondentie tijdens mijn reservering verliep vriendelijk, vlot en efficient! Zo ook de boeking van tranfer naar het hotel. Erg vriendelijke ontvangst, mooi ingerichte kamer en comfortabele bedden. In de ochtend uitstekend ontbijtbuffet. Kortom: Mercure Batavia is een uitstekend hotel om te verblijven wanneer je de oude stad wilt verkennen. Het ligt op slechts 400 meter van het oude stadhuis aan de Taman Fatahillah.

Faciliteiten en eten zijn goed. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Schoonmaak van kamer was over het algemeen goed alleen kreeg ik bij: vervangen van beddengoed lakens met vlekken en bij vervangen van baddoeken stinkende baddoeken.
