The breakfast is now held in a part of the lobby where in past years the area housed a ‘part’ of the bar where the famous Jazz band played. Quality is exceptional particularly the noodle soup and Shanghai dumplings with excellent service.

Fairmont Peace Hotel is a living museum. Stepping into the lobby, the shimmering Art Deco lights and the melodies of jazz instantly transport you back to the glamorous era of the "Paris of the East." Occupying a prime location on the Bund, the hotel is steps from Nanjing Road East and faces the TV tower across the river, with popular attractions like Yu Garden and the Garden Bridge within easy walking distance. Service is its soul, with staff who are both professional and elegant, consistently anticipating guests' needs. The rooms seamlessly blend historic charm with modern luxury amenities. The dining options, from the classic Jazz Bar to the refined Dragon Phoenix and Cathy Room, are exceptional. Be sure not to miss the "Heritage Tour" included with your stay, where Peace Museum staff recount nearly a century of legends. The lavish breakfast can even be enjoyed within the historic gallery, perfectly concluding a night's rest with a profound sense of cultural immersion.
