Great Hotel Staff, Poor Management

Front desk staff lovely, friendly and understands the role of being a host for hotel guests. Management however is a different story. Hope you don’t have a booking issue otherwise there is no resolution - waste of time. Booked through Accor app, cancelled a booking but still no refund of credit has been given despite cancelling within the free cancellation period. Management need to either improve their responsiveness themselves or have better communication channels with ACCOR ALL group.

After a long time, I was a little surprised to see the changes in Beijing, which were very important for a tourist or businessman. Now I will tell you what is very important to say or share about the hotel so that it is at least a little convenient for those who will visit Beijing like me. Although Fairmont Beijing was a new experience for me, there was no way to understand it because from the time of our arrival, many of the top team members were present until we left, the service of each team member was extraordinary and they made every effort to meet our needs at all times, especially early check-in, comfortable beds according to the requirements and our food was very important to them. Team Fairmont Beijing will meet in near future….

Currently staying at Fairmont Beijing !!! Simply unacceptable for 5 star hotel!!! Being Accor member and staying her for 10 nights ( quite long ) hotel put me in the room 1607, where smart toilet, tea pot, chair are broken or don’t work. Everting in my room is so used and taken bad care of !!! I am not saying that reception couldn’t even answer simple questions : where is the bank , can they change currency , etc !!!!

Hôtel staff was very helpful throughout the stay, providing extra services when needed and very nice. Especially great for family with children

GOOD STAY AND CONVENIENT LOCATION

Had a pretty good stay in Fairmont Beijing. Its location is not bad & easily accessible to other places. If one can walk longer, you can walk to Forbidden City & palace. It is also easily accessible by walking to Guomao area & Silk Street Market. The airport is not too far away from this hotel. It took us about 30 mins by car if there is no traffic jam. The hotel housekeeping is good & clean. Howver, the Nepresso coffee capsules are dusty & unsur if they are expired so we did not dare to drink. Hope the management can check all these Nepresso capsules are not expired & to clean them constantly. The pillows are too soft so I had to stack 2 pillows to have a better sleep. Breakfast buffet is not fantastic though but good enough to fill up the stomach. There is an indoor swimming pool but we missed to chill out there due to our short stay. We will consider to come back here to stay when we visit Beijing again.
